Asked on August 6th, 2023What would the price be and do you have information on hotel accommodations? We'd prefer to stay in 4-star Accomodations.
- Action Peru TreksOperator•Written August 2023
The hotel included in the package can be either the Tierra Viva hotel Cusco (3+ star hotel) or the Andean Wings Boutique hotel Cusco (4 star hotel). the hotel in Ollantaytambo is El Albergue hotel and the one in Aguas Calientes is the Hatun Inti Classic hotel (3 star hotel). the hotel in Aguas Calientes can be upgraded to the Tierra Viva Machu Picchu hotel for an extra USD $60 per person or to El Mapi hotel for an extra USD $125 per person. The cost of the 6 day tour with the 2 day Machu Picchu tour by train instead of the short Inca trail hike would be USD $1200 per person.

Asked on December 21st, 2018Is tipping included?
- Action Peru TreksOperator•Written December 2018
Tipping is not included in your tour cost. While tipping is not required, it is a common practice in Latin America. If you feel your guide and crew went above and beyond to make your trip special, tipping would be greatly appreciated.

- Action Peru TreksOperator•Written December 2018
All meals will be provided on your tour and are prepared by chefs who have experience cooking in the middle of the mountains! How cool is that!? Asked on December 21st, 2018Are there any physical requirements for my tour?
- Action Peru TreksOperator•Written December 2018
All of Action Peru Treks are challenging and often take place on rugged and isolated terrain. It is recommended that you are reasonably fit and healthy to fully enjoy your tour. Please consult your doctor if you are concerned with the altitude or your ability to trek through the Andes.

Asked on December 21st, 2018Do I need an Inca Trail permit?
- Action Peru TreksOperator•Written December 2018
Yes! Please ensure that there are permits available on your date of travel before you book your tour, as the Peruvian government only allow a small number of trekkers and permits per day to preserve the natural beauty of the Inca Trail. Please contact your Travel Expert for permit availabilities.
