- Anand· August 20th, 2023Pyrenees Travels made our trekking experience truly enjoyable! With meticulous planning and a high degree of attention to detail, Alberto and the team made our 'trek-ation' wonderful! The 10-day customized trip gave us a full experience of hiking the beautiful mountains, Spanish culture and gourmet food.Show more
- George· September 27th, 2019Alberto, the head guide, was great! He contacted me prior to the date and made everything easy. He picked me up in Barcelona and from that point on, everything was taken care of. All of the guides were exceptional with their ability, knowledge and caring. I didn't know what to expect when I booked it but I am So Glad I Did!!!Show more

Asked on February 10th, 2024How much walking/trekking is involved?
- Pyrenees Travels Operator•Written February 2024
Travelers do not need any previous experience but must be in good general condition. The activities and cultural visits are mixed with gentle walks of about 2 hours and 200/300 meters of elevation gain. Trail conditions may include gravel pavement, rocks, or dirt roads. Some days you may be on your feet most of the time.

Traveler•Written February 2024The oct. 23 to Oct. 30 dates are not convenient. My intended plan was to coordinate the Pyrenees with the Transcantabria train tour from San Sebastian to Santiago. If you have a similar Pyrenees tour with other dates or can organize a private tour we could be interested. Our intended dates are mid to late sept, or early Oct.

Traveler•Written February 2024Instead of returning to Barcelona, could we be dropped at a rental car so we can proceed towards San Sebastian? If so what town would it be, so we can make rental car arraignments
- Pyrenees Travels Operator•Written February 2024
We do not have rental car availability in our area but there is no problem with our transfer taking you to San Sebastian on the last day of the Tour.
- Pyrenees Travels Operator•Written February 2024
You can choose to start the trip from September 30 to October 4. The final price of this tour is €3,820 per person in a double room.

Traveler•Written May 2023Thanks, my only concern now is that temperatures may be quite chilly in the mountains in late October. Looks like spring or early autumn would be better, do you agree?
- Pyrenees Travels Operator•Written May 2023
October and November can be chilly, particularly in the shade and at higher altitudes but normally weather is good, most attractions are open and there are fewer crowds. Autumn is in full swing here in the Spanish Pyrenees. The hillsides and valleys are awash with colour, temperatures are dropping, days are getting shorter, mushrooms are erupting from the earth, chestnuts are ripening. It is a wonderful time to be in the mountains and as long as you're able to be outside, it doesn't matter what your cup of tea is, it's just a joy to be here.

Asked on May 11th, 2023would the tour still commenced?
- Pyrenees Travels Operator•Written May 2023
We do not have availability for this trip from May 16 because there is no group. If the client wants, we can develop the tour just for her, the same tour only exclusively but would have a higher price. The price of the exclusive tour would be €5,700. If another person signed up during these days, then the tour would be reduced to €2,789 for this customer.

Asked on March 14th, 2023Hi, I am looking at the tour "Stones and History. Relax and Disconnect in Pyrenees" and received the pdf brochure. Can you please elaborate on what is meant by "gentle activity" - between 2 and 4 hours each day...if we are not interested in long walks, is there an alternative?
- Pyrenees Travels Operator•Written March 2023
In this program we normally walk in the morning in natural and national parks on good paths and tracks and cultural visits are made in the afternoon. Easy walks that we are adapting to you and every day we have the option of walking for more or less time depending on you. Trip Level: 7 days of easy walks in the mountains, about 2/3 hours and about 100/300 meters of unevenness. This program is for people who really want to relax in the mountains. Perfect for all levels of physical abilities, the program will adapt to you each day. Our expert guides accompany you on a sensory journey. A delight for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers. Including cultural visits to villages, castles, chapels, museums, vineyards and excellent restaurants to make a unique and relaxing experience.
