Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
A representative meets you at Kathmandu International Airport and drives you to your hotel. You'll have time to settle in, rest after your journey, and prepare for the trek starting tomorrow.
- Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing & Trek Briefing
After breakfast, your guide takes you around Kathmandu to see the heritage sites including Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swoyambunat, and Bouddhanath stupa. Later in the evening, your trekking guide goes over what to expect on the trail, then you'll have dinner.

Kathmandu to Syange
An early morning drive heads toward Syange. The route takes you through green hills, alongside winding rivers and terraced farms, with views of the Himalayas appearing as you travel through the countryside.

Syange to Dharapani
The trek enters the Manang district, passing through barley, rice, and potato fields with waterfalls along the way. You'll walk through the village of Kodo before arriving at Dharapani, the largest village in this part of the Manang valley.

- Day 5
Dharapani to Chame
You trek through steep forested areas, navigating around some landslides on the route to Chame. The trail offers views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV (7,525m/24,688 ft). There are small hot springs along the way where you can soak.

Chame to Pisang
Walking through a steep, narrow valley brings you face to face with the Paungda Danda rock face, which rises 1,500 meters straight up from the river. You'll see Annapurna II and Pisang Peak before the trail descends to the Manang Valley floor.

Pisang to Manang
The trek goes from Pisang through Upper Pisang via Geru, offering excellent views of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and surrounding ridges. The air gets colder and drier as you approach Manang. You can visit Barge Monastery, the largest in the Manang District.

Acclimatization Day in Manang
This is a lighter day to build fitness before harder trekking lies ahead. Take a short hike to either Bhojo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake. If you're feeling strong, head up to Vraga Village to visit the Himalayan Rescue Association and learn about altitude sickness.

Manang to Letdar
The trek climbs gradually toward Thorung La as large trees give way to scrub juniper and alpine grass. You'll cross meadows where horses and yaks roam, and spot blue sheep on the steep slopes approaching Letdar (4,250 m/13,943 ft).

Letdar to Thorung Phedi
An uphill walk takes you to Thorung Phedi where you cross a suspension bridge and pass through towering cliffs to reach the last settlement before the pass. The views here show Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan.

Crossing Thorong La Pass to Muktinath
Starting around 3 AM, you make the final push to cross Thorung La pass, the highlight of the trek and one of the world's highest passes. You'll go from east to west (the safer direction), summit for photos, then descend into Muktinath Valley.

Muktinath to Jomsom
All downhill today as you trek to Jomsom, passing through Kagbeni and following the Kaligandaki corridor. It's a long descent but much easier than climbing, and you'll be in Jomsom by evening.

Jomsom to Pokhara
You can drive or fly to Pokhara based on what you prefer. Public transport is included, so you have the choice for this leg of the journey.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
A scenic drive on the highway takes about 6 hours to get back to Kathmandu, completing your return to the capital.

- Day 15
Departure from Kathmandu
