Questions & Answers
What are the best times to trek to Everest Base camp trek?
Generally, March, April , May and September, October, November, December are the best times for hike to Mountain region. June, July, August are the raining season. It is little bit difficulty to take flight from Kathmandu to Lukla to Kathandu.
What is altitude sickness?
The Mountain Altitude sickness- to know about the safety measures to avoid AMS and to understand the basic medical treatments once AMS hits you are most important things for you before trek in Nepal. The Acute Mountain Sickness is an illness caused due to gain in elevation. Compared to sea level the amount of oxygen in higher altitude is less and the oxygen level goes thinner as trekkers continue to gain higher altitude.
Is travel insurance compulsory to go EBC Trek?
Yes, Absolutely. You should invest to travel insurance and be sure it will be cover at high altitudes. If you need to return to hospital due to altitude sickness by helicopter, it would be better to you for pay helicopter evacuation.
Is Everest base camp trek dangerous?
Sometimes yes otherwise no. You should be fine, if you take your time and acclimatize perfectly. Our Guides are all trained professionals and will look after you during the Tour.
Is Everest base camp trek difficult or easy?
Everest Base camp trek is a moderate level trek. There are effortless hilly flats and challenging lofty mount but comprehensively it is feasible for someone with insufficient or no trekking experience. With appropriate coaching, you should be able to outright the hike to EBC.
