- Steffanie· May 30th, 2025I absoloutly loved this trip. This trip is comprised of two portions, first the Amalfi Coast portion which was a group tour and then Tuscan portion was more of an independent adventure. I have done the Amalfi Coast portion of this trip twice, once as a solo traveller and the second time with my partner. It is the perfect way to see the Amalfi Coast on a budget. The bungalows are comfortable and I love that there is the option to take the shuttle into town or even walk. The roads around the Amalfi Coast are crazy and so having a local, experienced driver like we had on this trip is an absolute must. The Tuscan portion of this trip was amazing! The boutique, local accommodation was great - it is possibly different on each departure, the one we stayed at had an amazing restaurant attached and was only a short shuttle ride away from San Gimiano. It also had a great pool. We loved the wine tour that was included in the Tuscan portion of this trip.Show more
- Yasmin· May 18th, 2025As a solo female traveller, this tour was a great way to experience the Naples and Amalfi coast area. A most special thanks to our great tour guide Giovanni. He shared his wonderful local knowledge and culture with us, answered every single question and call for suggestion we had, accompanied us whenever and wherever we needed anything. He handled all the logistics impeccably. Not to mention he is hilarious and great company! Thank you for showing us a great time and making us feel safe and welcome. I recommend this tour and hope you end up with Giovanni.Show more

Asked on April 16th, 2025I have a group that spans across people from their early thirties to their mid seventies. It comprises of 6 ppl with the possibility of 2 more joining. I would like to cover a specific list of places and hopefully get a private vehicle with accommodation in 4 star hotels. These are the places I have in mind Trip duration : 7 nights 8 days Time : September 2024 Places to be visited 1. Syracuse + NOTO 2. Mt etna 3. Taormina 4. Cefulu 5. Paulermo + Agrigento 6. San Vito la Capo

We'd be happy to organize your private tour including 4-star accommodations, a private vehicle, and all the destinations you've listed. We'll get back to you shortly with a detailed quote for the services requested. In the meantime, we'd kindly ask you to confirm the room configuration (e.g., twin, double, triple rooms), and let us know if you're interested in any specific experiences during your trip—such as wine tastings, cooking classes, etc., apart from the orientation walks in each destination. Just as a note, September is still considered high season in Italy, particularly in popular destinations like Sicily. As such, the cost of 4-star accommodations can be considerably higher compared to 3-star options. We're happy to tailor the proposal based on your preferences and can also provide alternative options to help optimize the overall budget, if desired.

Traveler•Written April 2025Hello, Thank you for your prompt reply. To answer your questions, I'd like twin rooms for my stay in 4 star hotels with a max cost of 140 dollars/ night. I would also love to have a wine tasting experience with a lunch on a vineyard. Apart from that I have already listed the places I would like to see.
- Italy on a Budget ToursOperator•Written April 2025
Based on your preferences, we may need to revisit the budget slightly. Please note that 4-star hotels in Sicily, especially in September, typically start at around €250 per room per night. In addition to accommodation, the total cost will also include a private vehicle with driver, guide services, fuel, tolls, and entrance fees. Would this be something you're open to adjusting for? Alternatively, we can certainly look into more budget-friendly options, such as using public transportation in place of a private minivan, and selecting mid-range hotels or b&b's that still offer great comfort and charm. Let us know what works best for you, and we'll be happy to provide a proposal accordingly.

Asked on February 25th, 2022Does this tour operator require proof of covid vaccination?
- Italy on a Budget ToursOperator•Written February 2022
As a tour operator we don't require any proof of vaccination however it's still required for travelling in Italy by train or any public transport. This means that in somehow at the moment this documents is still needed. We don't know what will happen by June though.
