- AJessica Parker· September 18th, 2022This tour was an incredible introduction to Israel and Jordan. We were able to see the highlights of both countries and experience the local culture. It is a fast pace tour so you definitely need to keep that in mind but it?s worth it! If you can do this tour I would recommend it!Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for your feedback! - Boone· March 26th, 2023It’s a tour that’s always on the go but we got to see and do a lot in a short amount of time that we have in the region. The accommodations exceeded my expectation.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi Boone! Thanks so much! Our world deserves more you :)Trip date: March 2023
- ANirav Patel· June 19th, 2022It was better than I expected. The group was awesome. I did and saw a lot more than I would have planning myself. It was definitely tiring, but in a good way.Show moreTrip date: June 2022Review collected by G Adventures
- AJessica McClurg· June 13th, 2022It was absolutely incredible to experience 3 different cultures in 8 days. The trip was well organised and such a great adventure. Also I was worried about being the oldest person on the tour as it was an '18 to thirty something' but luckily most people were in their 30s :-)Show moreTrip date: June 2022Review collected by G Adventures
- AAndrew Polinko· June 28th, 2022Exactly what I wanted out of the tour! A lot of history, a laid-back group of people, great tour managers, and fun activities! I would highly recommend it!Show moreTrip date: June 2022Review collected by G Adventures
- Paul· January 30th, 2023I was booked on the Ancient Sites and Epic Nights 8 day trip which (I think) departed from Jerusalem on the 29th January. Owing to the synagogue shootings on the 27th January in East Jerusalem followed by the shootings in the old town on the 28th I no longer felt it safe to make the trip. I fully understand the Ts and Cs around late cancellations and I also believe it to be right that the trip should run if possible if people still have the risk appetite to do it. What I would expect from any reputable tour company (which I thought G were having been a customer of theirs for 15 years) is empathy for the situation and respect for the individual risk appetite of the customer given the extreme circumstances. I expect the company to explore solutions to try and at least recompense the customer in some way for the costs that aren't sunk on G's end. Instead what I encountered was representatives of G attempting to gaslight me by telling me the trip was safe to run and everything was fine on the ground (unless their people on the ground have special intelligence how can they possibly know that) and cynically try and force me to formally cancel the tour as quickly as possible which I suspect was a way to try and force through a non-refund before any decision was made by head office to cancel the tour and therefore maximise their profits. I have been left extremely cold and disappointed by my experience with G Adventures and think I would never book with them again.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi Paul - Thank you for your feedback. Asked on September 12th, 2023I'd like to know what to expect when visiting in June as I'm also considering the other June departure. I'm also concerned the geopolitical situation there might blow up while I'm there. How likely is that?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2023
When you are asking what to expect are you referring to the weather in June? if so June is the middle of Summer for these destinations wand temperatures can be 86°F + (30°C+) in most places. We have not had any such issues recently that have caused concern or a need to cancel tours. We have our local office monitoring any news in destination and if any issues were to arise that would affect the trip and our travellers we would advise and make amendments where needed.

Traveler•Written September 2023This tour looks interesting but given the geopolitical situation, I know that sometimes there are flareups of violence in the area. How does the tour guarantee my safety while I'm there?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2023
With regards to safety on any of our trips, the safety of our travellers is always our number one priority. There are several countries that we are unable to run our trips in due to safety concerns, and there have been times where we have been forced to make the difficult choice to cancel our tours for this reason. Our local offices are on the ground in every region we visit around the globe, and they provide us with constant safety updates, so if there are any changes that we need to make to your trip due to safety concerns, you'll be the first to know.

Traveler•Written September 2023Let's say I book the tour and at some point between then and the trip tensions flare up. What are your cancellation policies? What would happen if tensions were to flair up during the trip? Also, what temperatures do you expect there to be for the Jordan segments of the trip for my dates? Is there any possibility of them being above 90F?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2023
Our cancellation conditions should you choose to cancel are detailed below: Anytime: Lifetime Deposit remains on file for future use. Up to 30th day prior to departure: Your 20% non-refundable deposit is saved. From 29th day to 3rd day prior to departure: 70% of travel fare becomes non-refundable. From 2nd day prior to departure up to departure day or in case of no show: 95% of travel fare becomes non-refundable. Should any areas become unsafe we would amend the trip accordingly and if it needed to be cancelled we would do so. Average temperatures in June would be around 80-90 F.
