Itinerary
- Day 1
Zagreb
You'll arrive in Zagreb and get settled into the city. Spend your afternoon wandering through the squares and cobbled streets, checking out the local markets at your own pace. By evening, you'll meet up with your Travel Director and the group for dinner.

Zagreb to Bled
A Local Specialist takes you through Zagreb's medieval upper town, stopping at St. Mark's Square to see the ornate Romanesque church. After that, you'll head into Slovenia's green landscape toward Bled, a lakeside resort town. Along the way, you'll learn about local legends involving fairies and historic visitors like Holy Roman Emperor Henry II.

The Julian Alps frame everything nicely. This evening, you'll head to Slibar farm for a Be My Guest experience with homegrown Slovenian hospitality and seasonal dishes served family-style.

Before reaching Opatija, you'll stop in Postojna to visit an impressive cave system.

Opatija to Pula and Rovinj
Head to Pula on Croatia's Istrian Peninsula and check out the 1st-century Pula Arena with a Local Specialist, who'll explain its history from Romans through World War II. It's the sixth-largest and best-preserved amphitheatre around. Later, you'll explore Rovinj's fishing port and Old Town with its Mediterranean character. Back in Opatija by evening for a stroll along the Lungomare.
