Arrival in Tel Aviv
You'll meet your driver at Ben Gurion Airport and get transported to your hotel in Tel Aviv. Later at 19:30, you'll join your travel companions for a Welcome Reception where you'll get briefed on what's ahead for the trip.

Tel Aviv
This morning starts in Tel Aviv checking out the Habimah National Theatre, Rabin Square, and Carmel Market where you can wander through the stalls. After that, head to the ancient city of Jaffa to see the famous clock tower and old harbour, then walk through the artists' quarter with its galleries and boutiques. Your evening wraps up with a traditional Shabbat dinner.

Acre - Nazareth - Tiberias
Drive along the coastal road to Caesarea and explore ancient Roman and Crusader ruins including a huge amphitheatre. From there, continue through Haifa to Acre, which has a fascinating history of conflicts between Saracens and Crusaders. You'll see the fortress, old harbour, and Crusader crypt before heading inland to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation. Later you'll travel to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee, and the day finishes with a brief introduction to kibbutz life.

Dead Sea
Start the day by seeing the ancient wooden boat from the time of Jesus, then take a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. Next, head to Capernaum to check out the Synagogue where Jesus taught, followed by Mount of Beatitudes where he preached the Sermon on the Mount. After that, travel through the Jordan Valley past ancient Jericho, and your afternoon ends with a dip in the buoyant salt waters of the Dead Sea.

Jerusalem
Take a cable car ride up to the fortress of Masada, where Jewish Zealots held out for three years against Roman forces. Pass by the caves at Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, then travel through the Judean Hills to Mount Scopus for views of Jerusalem. You'll visit King David's Tomb and the Room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion, then enter the Old City to reach the Wailing Wall, the most sacred monument in Judaism.

Jerusalem
This morning you'll visit Yad Vashem, a memorial for those who perished in the Holocaust. After that, continue to the Israel Museum and check out the Shrine of the Book wing which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Bethlehem - Jerusalem
You have a relaxed morning or can meet your local expert at the West Bank border to head to Bethlehem (optional). There you'll visit the Church of the Nativity, one of the oldest continuously operating churches, built over the cave marking the birthplace of Christ. All travelers will visit the Garden of Gethsemane and walk through the Old City to see the Temple Mount. Then you'll walk along the Via Dolorosa past the Stations of the Cross, Ecce Homo Arch, and Pool of Bethesda to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The day ends with a celebration dinner toasting your adventures.
