Dublin
A Local Expert guides you through Dublin's elegant squares and historic sites including Custom House, Christchurch Cathedral, and St. Patrick's Cathedral. You'll see the 9th-century Book of Kells and walk through Trinity College's cobbled courtyards to get oriented to the city.

Start at one of Ireland's main racehorse breeding centers, then check out the 100-year-old Japanese Gardens. From there, head to medieval Kilkenny to see Kilkenny Castle from 1195 with its restored Victorian rooms. Pass through Cahir to view its 13th-century castle, then arrive in Cork for an orientation tour of this vibrant university city along the waterfront.

Dingle - Tarbert - Ennistymon
Leave Killarney for the Dingle Peninsula, following Slea Head Drive with windswept cliffs, golden beaches, and ancient stone dwellings overlooking the Blasket Islands. In the afternoon, head north to Tarbert and take a ferry crossing the Shannon Estuary to Killimer. Watch for bottlenose dolphins as you travel, then continue to Ennistymon with its traditional shopfronts and river falls.
