The tour of Mongolia was amazing. My guide Tom is the Best guide of Mongolia. His knowledge of Mongolia inside and out is awesome and his English fluently. My driver Nimka was very safe and clever driver. He knows all ways of Mongolia. Thank you Nomadic of Blue Sky for taking care of every step of the trip. You made exploring the vast regions of the country very easy.

I was delighted with the trip to Mongolia, which you organized for us; discovery of the west which is very interesting, and especially of various sites, lakes, villages where we were welcomed in the yurts, by cattle breeders, with a lot of warmth and kindness, approaching the snow-capped mountains, and glaciers !! an endearing nature, as evidenced by the beautiful photos I made, and those received from Sylvie. The beautiful show we saw, beautiful dances and costumes ..! and then all these small markets more attractive than each other, which allowed us to make pleasant purchases .. the day also shop which sealed the end of our trip, and allowed us to bring back beautiful cashmere sweaters ... I'm not referring to your kitchen which was very good, you had to camp the stove and set the table, for the hungry we were !! The essential, however, will remain your kindness, your availability, your competence, and your dynamism !! It was a total success!

Mongolia was my dream and it became a reality during last summer, I came back amazed by the beauty of the landscapes, by unexpected encounters the kindness and hospitality of the Mongols who without knowing us, invited in their yurt to offer us some delicious salty tea or a party - and it was thanks to our guide, professionalism, sense of discovery and resourcefulness that we had a great time and have benefited from every moment. Our guide Bayaraa had planned everything: local and delicious food, accommodation with nomads or bivouac in landscapes of breathtaking beauty and all in good mood. I dream to go back because Mongolia is great and there is so much to discover. Long live Bayaraa and "Nomadic of Blue Sky" team.

    Asked on January 23rd, 2024

Could you please clarify the accommodation for solo travellers? I am interested in booking a single supplement with this tour, but how can you accomodate me since most of the tour is camp based. Hotel is only in the capital for 2 or 3 days. What about the rest of the days? Am I going to be the only one in the Ger or with other peoples?

Hi Nadine. I have't received any answers in regard to my question about the solo accomodations

    • Nomadic of Blue SkyOperatorWritten February 2024

Regarding the accommodations for solo travelers, we are pleased to inform you that we offer a single supplement option for the entirety of our tours, even when camping is involved. While we do stay in a hotel during the first 2 or 3 days of the tour in the capital, for the remaining days where we set up camp, you will not be required to share a Ger (traditional tent) with other guests. We provide a private Ger for solo travelers who opt for the single supplement, ensuring you have personal space and comfort throughout your journey.

Where is the bathroom when I stay in yurt? Do we need to share yurt with other guests?

    • Nomadic of Blue SkyOperatorWritten December 2022

Activity level is easy. This tour is designated as easy and comfortable. Most tourist camps are designated for 3-4 people per Ger/Yurt/. If you confirm your reservation early, you two can be arranged to stay in a Ger without sharing with others.

    • Nomadic of Blue SkyOperatorWritten December 2022

All tourist camps serve western-style washing facilities and hot water. Washing facilities are found in a separate building some 15-30 m from the ger accommodation. Some ger camps even have a swimming pool, sauna, and massage. Laundry service is available at most ger camps at modest charges.

    Asked on November 8th, 2022

Would both camps have separate dining & shower facilities, or only the tour. I also understand that entrance fees etc to a lot of places are not included in the tour. Lastly, would be be getting a real Naadam Festival experience with a local festival, or is the real experience with the festival held in Ulaanbattor?

Is this a group tour or a private tour? We would want a group tour as this sort of trip as a private tour may be a bit much for us. Can you confirm the price for me.

    • Nomadic of Blue SkyOperatorWritten November 2022

This is a group tour. Mostly we operate small group tours with 6-11 passengers. We usually use 4WD off-road land cruisers or similar, 3 persons per car (everyone gets a window seat).

What is the latest date you accept payment for the tour? Also, do I understand that you use 4WD vehicles with 3-4 people per vehicle?

    • Nomadic of Blue SkyOperatorWritten November 2022

Full payment can be made up to 2 months prior to travel. Or you can pay in monthly installments until May 26, 2023. We mostly use 4WD off-road vehicles with 3 people per vehicle, 2 in the back row, and 1 in the front row.
