- Day 3 From Yogyakarta, visit Borobudur Buddhist temple complex and Prambanan Hindu temple for sunset
- Day 4 Take a train through central Java to Malang. Evening orientation of the city
- Day 5 Drive to Mount Bromo; walk through Sand Sea
- Day 6 Sunrise at Mount Penanjakan with views of Mount Bromo; drive to Kalibaru
- Day 7 Explore the plantations of Kalibaru, then take the ferry to Bali
- Day 8 Free day at the beach in Pemuteran. Optional snorkelling at Menjangan National Park

The trip notes could be a little more detailed about the effort level involved in the volcano visits (i.e. not very much in the case of the Mount Bromo sunrise trip!) as that was one thing I was unsure about beforehand.Show more
