All of our backpacking trips in the Grand Canyon require permits. Those permits are issued via a lottery. We have already applied for permits for May 2024 and it is very unlikely that we will able to get any at this point. Are you all experienced backpackers? The New Hance Loop is one of the most difficult trips we offer. We do have some trips that aren't camping open for May 2024 if you're interested.
