- Dermot· August 25th, 2025I did a solo trek with Nepal trekking routes and it was amazing, from the first contact with the local owner Shailesh there was great communication between us and any questions were answered promptly. It was very well organized with my guide Santa and porter Tek being first class and taking very good care of me on the trek. The tea houses and food were of a high standard. If you're thinking of doing the EBC trek then this is the company for you. Well done to all.Show more
- Koh· August 24th, 2025This is our 2nd trip with Nepal Trekking Routes. We were so pleased with our Langtang trek last year that we decided to return to Nepal with the same company. Shailesh, the owner is very responsive and professional. He replied all our queries promptly in preparation for the trip. He also personally pucked us up from the Kathmandu airport and sent us off on the last day. We went on the Upper Mustang trek with a friend, and it turned out to be one of the best trips we’ve done together. The whole journey was really well organized, so we could just relax and enjoy the experience. One big plus was having attached bathrooms everywhere we stayed – something you don’t usually get on treks in Nepal. It made things so much more comfortable after a long day of hiking. The itinerary was flexible too. On days when we felt a bit tired, our guide adjusted the pace and plan so we never felt rushed. That really helped us enjoy the trek at our own rhythm. The landscapes were simply stunning – dramatic cliffs, desert valleys, and beautiful old monasteries. Our guide shared lots of stories about the history and culture of the region, which made it even more special. Overall, trekking in Upper Mustang with Nepal Trekking Routes was an incredible experience. If you’re looking for a mix of adventure, comfort, and culture, we would highly recommend it.Show more
- Van· August 24th, 2025The views were absolutely beautiful. The Chola Pass was a challenging trekking, but I really love it. It’s amazing. I eventually like this trekking better than Everest Base Camp. The trekking went very well. This is my second time in Nepal, hosted by Nepal Trekking Route. I really like this company. Shailesh goes above and beyond to provide the best unique trekking experience. Bishnu, the well trained local guide, is always happy to offer additional opportunities to explore areas of my interest. He worked hard and spent more time to enrich my journey. I went solo, yet never felt alone. Bishnu and Tek (my porter) were my best friends during this challenging journey. I was very comfortable and enjoyed the trekking.Show more

Traveler•Written October 2022The two of us are working with a tight schedule and are curious if we could join you from Chhukung for the summit? If so what would be the price of such service? We are currently planning to be in Chhukung on the 25th of November and so could start trek to Island Peak base camp on the 26th.
