Chris· October 6th, 2025Whilst the holidays look great on paper they are only as good as the local agents and tour guide. Unfortunately there appears to be little or no vetting of the local agents/tour guides. When things do go wrong Explore are are not interested and as others have advised, trying to deal with Explore Customer Service is a terrible experience and a complete waste of time. The Customer Service team are difficult to ever get hold off and never call back when promised. When you do finally manage to speak to someone they tell blatant lies and when challenged over what they say they shut down and refuse to communicate any further. A real shame that what should have been a great holiday was ruined by the local guide and then further exacerbated by Explores attitude to the issues raised.Show more

Explore!Operator•Written June 2025Regarding a private group of our Upgraded - The Baltic States and Poland- we would need to know a preferred departure date. We would also need to know the rooming required for the 5 passengers - i.e. number of twin or single rooms. We could then ask our product team to give an estimate cost of the trip. We are not able to change the itinerary in anyway to the group tour or alter any of the accommodation. The trip itinerary and accommodation would be exactly the same as the group trip - just on a separate date and private to your party.

Asked on February 25th, 2025Need specifics about these items. The lake district is not an optional trip, there are some activities available that I would like to have prepared before we go to that spot, in order to save time. We only have two days there. Secondly I am interested in how it works to add the Auschwitz, dish Factory and salt mine trip optionally to ours. The smaller group option as well. Finally, We would like to reiterate that we cannot ride on big city type buses. Can that be assured to us? Beforehand? Thank you.

The Auschwitz visit is something we recommend if you are booking your own time in Krakow after the tour ends and is not something that is part of the Explore tour. The visit does typically take most of the day. We would recommend having a full day for the Auschwitz tour.
