Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and meet your company representative who handles your transfer to the hotel by private car. The drive takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Once you check in, there's plenty of time to relax and get settled in your room.

Kathmandu to Thakurdwar
After breakfast, you'll catch a direct 1-hour flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. From there, the drive to Thakurdwar takes roughly 2 hours, and you'll see some nice views of the mid-western region along the way. Check into your hotel and spend the evening walking around the village while learning about Tharu culture.

Landmarks Nepalgunj Airport Karnali River - Day 3
Wildlife Safaris
This morning starts with breakfast before a 2 to 3-hour walking safari along the Karnali River banks to look for wildlife. After lunch, you'll head out on a daytime jeep safari through Bardiya National Park to see the vegetation and spot animals. By evening you're back at the resort.

- Day 4
Elephant Safari and Rafting in Bardiya
An early breakfast gets you ready for the morning elephant back safari, where you'll search for Bengal Tigers and other endangered species while taking in the local flora and fauna. Later in the evening, you'll go rafting to see dolphins and Gharials, with a chance to swim if conditions permit. You'll stay at the resort overnight.

Landmarks Bardiya National Park 
- Day 5
Bird Watching and Tharu Cultural Experience
Start with breakfast and then do some early morning bird watching around the area. You'll explore the surrounding village to spot different bird species and spend time with local people, picking up information about Tharu culture and how they live. In the evening, the Tharu community performs a cultural dance program for you. Another night at the resort.

Landmarks Bardiya National Park - Day 6
Return to Kathmandu
After breakfast you'll leave Bardiya National Park and travel back to Kathmandu. Your afternoon is free, so if you'd like to check out some sights and attractions around the Kathmandu Valley, that option is yours. Spend the night back at your hotel in Kathmandu.

Departure from Kathmandu
Your representative meets you at the hotel and takes you to the airport, timing everything around your flight schedule. Then you depart Kathmandu and head home.
