Whitehorse
Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you into central Whitehorse to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to drop your bags, freshen up, and get settled before things kick off tomorrow.

Whitehorse
Early on you'll board a 20-minute sightseeing flight that takes you over Yukon's summer landscape from the air. Once you're back in Whitehorse, spend time walking through the city's history at the historic Paddlewheeler SS Klondike and checking out the unusual log skyscraper downtown. After lunch, head to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve where you'll see Elk, Moose, Caribou, Mountain Goats, and Porcupines in their natural habitat. By evening you'll relax in the natural hot springs at Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs with mountain views all around, which is a nice way to end the day.

Kluane National Park
You'll head into the mountains early morning to explore Kluane National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At Kathleen Lake you can walk around and take in the scenery, then do a short hike at Rock Glacier where you'll get views across the lakes and mountains below. From there, stop at the Da Ku Cultural Centre in Haines Junction to learn about the park's history and the massive non-polar ice field that sits there.

Whitehorse
You'll get a safety briefing on how to canoe, then paddle down the historic Yukon River from Whitehorse to where the Takhini River meets it. The northern scenery is peaceful on this stretch, and it's a good day trip even if you've never paddled before. After you come back to shore, grab a beer from the famous Yukon Brewery at one of the downtown restaurants to celebrate.
