Itinerary
- Day 1
Cape Town to Sedgefield/Knysna/Wilderness
Early morning pickup happens between 6 and 8am from Cape Town CBD or Stellenbosch, then you'll head southeast for roughly 4 hours. The drive takes you through seaside towns and forested national parks as you make your way toward the Garden Route. At Botlierskop Game Reserve, there's an open 4x4 safari where you can look for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and rhinos. After the safari, continue to the coast and arrive in Sedgefield, Knysna or near Wilderness by evening.

- Day 2
Garden Route to Jeffreys Bay
Today follows the coastal belt through smaller towns, and you'll stop at Knysna Heads to take in the lagoon views. Then pick your activity: bungy jump off the world's highest bungy bridge at 216m, do a waterfall zipline through Tsitsikamma forest with five slides (including a 211m line), or walk through Tsitsikamma National Park and cross suspension bridges. As the sun sets, head to Jeffreys Bay for dinner either at your accommodation or at a local seafood restaurant.

Jeffreys Bay to Greater Addo Region
Start at Jeffreys Bay, known as South Africa's 'Surf City', and spend time at the beach or browse the surf wear shops. If you're interested, try the world-famous surf spot here. After beach time, travel inland toward Addo Elephant National Park. The landscape shifts as you cross the Klein Karoo plains and things get noticeably greener. You'll wrap up the day in Addo town, a small citrus farming community in the Sundays River Valley.

Addo to Oudtshoorn
Travel inland through rugged plains and towering cliffs to reach Oudtshoorn, known as the ostrich capital. Head into the Cango Caves to explore underground limestone chambers with stalactites, stalagmites and ancient Khoikhoi paintings, choosing either a heritage or adventure tour. In the evening, you can arrange a restaurant booking through your guide or join an optional braai with ostrich sosaties and bread cooked over open flames under the stars.

Oudtshoorn to Cape Town/Stellenbosch
Start at the Cango Ostrich Show Farm to see these massive birds and test how tough their shells are. From there, drive along Route 62, which holds the title of world's longest wine route and was modeled after America's Route 66. You'll pass through mountain passes with lazy baboons, rolling farmlands, fertile microclimates and grapevine rows. Stop midway for wine tasting to try local wines (non-alcoholic options are available). By day's end, you'll be back in Cape Town or Stellenbosch.
