The overall tour was good but, we had a few problems. It could have been better organized and communicated better. For example, we had already said and reminded that one of us was a vegetarian but, no accommodation was made for this. There was confusion at the airport and at one of the ports (in Piraeus) while picking us up. The person picking us up had a Key Tour sign which we had no knowledge that we were a part of! We had Neon tours in Turkey and Travel Exchange in Greece (which we didn't know till the day before). Even our guide in Turkey (there were no guides in Greece (except for a half day city tour in Athens) did not know what our itinerary was and who was picking us up after he left (or we left the group) us In Pammukale! He was knowledgeable and informative about the sites, though. At times, it felt like one hand did not know what the other hand was doing, sorry to say. Communication to and from Neon tours was slow and often delayed. They don't remain open from Saturday at noon till Monday morning (no possible communication during this time) and during weekdays, it sometimes took 24-48 hours to get a reply. Accommodations were excellent, especially the 'all inclusive' resort in Marmaris. The Mediterranean in Rhodes was not good. The A/C was not working properly, the phone in the room never worked (in spite of complaining and them trying to fix) and then never even apologized for it!. The lady at the front desk said 'most people don't use the room phone anyway'. WE have taken tours on Cosmos, Go Ahead tours etc. where they are much better organized. Thank you.
