Itinerary
- Day 1
Vilnius
You'll arrive in Vilnius, and there's a transfer option to get you to the hotel. The group meets up for a welcome drink and a quick rundown of what's coming up during the tour plus some basic info about the city itself. They'll give you suggestions for where to eat dinner and which streets are good for an evening walk.

- Day 2
Trakai
After breakfast, the morning starts with a walking tour through Vilnius's Old Town where you'll see the Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, St. Anne's Church, the Old University, and the Gates of Dawn. You'll also walk through Uzupis, an independent neighborhood known for its creative vibe. Around midday, head to Hales market to try Lithuanian specialties from local vendors. In the afternoon, travel to Trakai to see its medieval island castle, and if you're interested, there's a chance to taste Kibinai, which are traditional pastries.

Vilnius to Kaunas
On the way to Kaunas, stop at Rumsiskes village to check out one of Europe's largest open-air museums. You'll see authentic old houses and learn about folk traditions from the 18th to 20th centuries. The rest of the day focuses on Kaunas itself, a city with a lot of character from when it was Lithuania's capital between the World Wars and served as the European Capital of Culture in 2022.

Kaunas to Rusne
The day follows the scenic Nemunas River, with a stop at Panemune Castle along the way. You'll pass through quiet villages and small towns nestled between rivers and waterways. If the weather cooperates, there's a 3 km walking trail through the Aukstumala bog that you can do. Later you'll arrive in Rusne, Lithuania's largest island, where a local host has prepared homemade dinner for the group. After dinner, there's time to walk around the small town or simply relax at the homestead.

Curonian Spit - Klaipeda
Today takes you to tiny villages along the Curonian Lagoon, starting with the Vente Horn ornithology station, a paradise for anyone interested in birds since thousands of migratory species pass through daily. From there, head to the Curonian Spit peninsula to see the sand dunes, forests, and old fishermen villages. There's an option to taste locally smoked fish if that appeals to you. Before heading to Klaipeda for the evening, stop at the Parnidis dune, which is popular for photos.

Klaipeda to Vilnius
Head back toward Vilnius with stops along the route. First, spend time in Palanga, Lithuania's main summer resort on the Baltic Sea coast and a favorite spot for 19th-century nobility. Visit the Amber Museum, which holds the world's largest collection of amber, something locals call Lithuania's gold. Before returning to Vilnius for the evening, stop at the Hill of Crosses, one of Catholicism's most important pilgrimage sites, where there are roughly 100,000 crosses on display.
