Itinerary

Casablanca to Fez
Your guide will meet you at Casablanca airport and drive you to your hotel in Fez. Once you've settled in, the morning is free to rest and get acclimated. In the afternoon, you'll take a guided tour through the city's main monuments and museums. Dinner happens at your hotel that evening.

Landmarks/POIs Fez Medina - Day 2
Fez
Today focuses on Fez's UNESCO World Heritage Medina, one of the world's most complete medieval cities. The morning involves walking through its monuments and landmarks with your guide. After lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant, you'll continue exploring on foot and spend the afternoon and evening browsing through the souks. There's a lot of ground to cover here, so comfortable shoes are important.

Fez to Merzouga
This is your first big travel day heading into the Atlas Mountains. You'll drive through the Middle Atlas, passing through Azrou where Berber markets show local life. The landscape shifts dramatically as you head toward the High Atlas peaks. Lunch happens in Midelt with views of the mountains and distant Sahara views. From there, continue to Erfoud and then to the Merzouga dunes where your desert camp is set up. After sunset, you'll take your first camel trek under the stars.

Merzouga
Rise early to watch sunrise over the Merzouga dunes, then have breakfast with the Tuareg people. After eating, you'll mount your camels for a caravan trek through beautiful oases. Your private camp gets set up at an oasis for the night. Following dinner, there's traditional drumming and nomadic storytelling around the campfire under the stars.

Merzouga to Taouz
After breakfast, you'll depart on your camel caravan heading toward Taouz. The route crosses unique Saharan landscapes with date palm groves and fruit trees along the way. You'll stop for lunch on the banks of the Ziz River, then continue through winding trails to reach the oasis of Taouz. Your evening includes dinner at a local family Kasbah followed by traditional dance and desert storytelling.

Taouz to Ouarzazate
Your caravan travels from Taouz to Ouarzazate, passing through Zagora and Agdez along the way. It's a long day of driving through changing desert and mountain scenery. The day wraps up with a farewell dinner at a typical Moroccan restaurant.
