    Went for some great hikes. Really loved the Abel Tasman and Mt. Cook. John and Eva were always helpful and attentive to everyone's needs. Eva produced some magnificent lunches.

    I was on the Ultimate South Island Adventure in February and really enjoyed the whole of it, including the rainy days! The communication and organisation leading up to the trip and on it was very good. Our guide for the 2 weeks, Kathryn, was excellent and I think really made it work very well, keeping us informed and organised as to what was happening all the time, was a wealth of knowledge on what we encountered and was a very nice person to spend 2 weeks with, as well as all the guests on the trip. It's a great way to sample New Zealand and you see a lot and the few people who took the North Island part as well enjoyed that as much. I would certainly use Hiking NZ the next time I am going on holiday there.

      There is not a lot of availability left for early 2023 on the Ultimate New Zealand, however, there is still space on the 8th March departure. If you are looking for late 2023 there is availability on the 15 and 29 November, and 13, 27 December.

    • For any tour departing before December 31st, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 31st, 2025, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Hiking New Zealand. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 105 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Hiking New Zealand will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
