He made the trip extremely memorable with all his jokes, but also took really good care of us. I needed to go to hospital during my tour, which he came with me for, kept checking in with me, brought me food, did everything he possibly could. He even gave me his own shoes when I tripped over in my flip flops! He sorted all our transfers for us including extra places we wanted to go and always came in with great recommendations. All your activities, accommodation, transport and some of your meals are included in the price, so you won't need to spend too much money. We usually recommend taking around £600 / $1000 AUD with you for the trip, but this obviously depends on how much shopping you're going to do and how many beers or cocktails you want to enjoy.

Yes, there will be a driver to collect you from the airport and take you to the hotel where you will meet the rest of the group. You will be given the contact details for your Group Leader 2 weeks before your trip, so if there are any delays you can message them, the driver will also be checking the status of your flight while you are travelling. You can book any flight that lands into Denpasar on the start date of your trip, and any flight that departs on the last day. We recommend around £400/$500 for a two week trip, you will only need money for souvenirs, meals and drinks, as all of your accommodation, activities and travel are included, if you have other plans for after the tour then bring a little more to support those too. The visa is 500,000 IDR on arrival, and you can pay with cash or card.

Currently 5 people are booked and the start date is guaranteed. Mount Batur is the volcano being hiked, which is a steep 2 hours hike on unsteady ground in the dark and can be quite challenging. There is an option to sit out the hike if preferred. Accommodations details are in the attached Trip Notes. Onward travel will be organized with the Group Leader during the trip.

We currently have 5 solo travellers booked on to this trip. If you're just doing the trip and then flying home, it's a simple minivan transfer back to the airport that will take around 1.5 hours and cost approx. $30 / £20. We can organise this for you in Bali. The earliest we recommend booking an onward flight out of Bali is around 1pm on day 15.
