- Day 1
Buenos Aires
You'll arrive in Buenos Aires and meet your local host who transfers you to your hotel. After that, the afternoon and early evening are yours to wander around at your own pace, checking out the wide boulevards and neighborhoods that catch your interest. Later this evening you'll have dinner with your Travel Director and the rest of the group.

- Day 2
Buenos Aires
This morning your Travel Director takes you along 9 de Julio Avenue, which happens to be one of the world's widest streets. You'll see the ornate Colón Theatre and historic Plaza de Mayo, then step inside the Metropolitan Cathedral to see its neoclassical interior. From there you head to La Boca district to walk through the painted houses and famous Caminito Street. Later in the afternoon, Palermo's green spaces, lakes, and gardens are next, and you'll finish the day at Recoleta Cemetery.

Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
You fly to Ushuaia, the world's southernmost city, and start exploring Tierra del Fuego National Park with a Local Specialist. The landscape here is dramatic, with waterfalls, forests, and snow-capped mountains. You'll look for red foxes, condors, eagles, and beavers as you go. During the day you take in views over Beagle Channel at Ensenada Bay, see Roca Lake, and visit Lapataia Bay. Dinner happens at your hotel on the Beagle Channel.

Ushuaia
A Local Specialist joins you for a tour of Ushuaia, including a stop at the Museo Marítimo y del Presidio where you learn about the famous Prison at the End of the World and its inmates. After that, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace, walking through town to get a feel for its history as a former penal colony and missionary base. If it interests you, there's an optional Beagle Channel cruise available that covers wildlife and shipwreck history.

Ushuaia to El Calafate
You fly to El Calafate, which sits on the shores of Lake Argentino and serves as your gateway to Los Glaciares National Park and Perito Moreno Glacier. Over the next few days you'll be exploring massive glaciers, interconnected fjords, and glacial lakes tucked into the mountainsides. Quick fact: the town gets its name from the local calafate berry.

El Calafate
You spend today in Los Glaciares National Park (a UNESCO site) with a Local Specialist, getting up close with those arctic-blue and white glaciers that are fed by the South Patagonian Ice Field. The main highlight is Perito Moreno Glacier towering above Lake Argentino's icy waters, and if you're lucky you'll see massive icebergs calving into the lake. You'll also cross windswept steppe and walk through southern beech forests. Later, the evening is yours to do what sounds good, whether that's trying Patagonian lamb with Malbec wine or checking out the Glaciarium.

El Calafate to Puerto Natales
Today you travel to Puerto Natales with several stops along the way. You start at Pingo Salvaje ranch for a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience, learning about holistic grazing practices and visiting an on-site waterfall used for hydraulic energy. Next comes Milodon Cave, where archaeologists found evidence of giant prehistoric ground sloths and human habitation dating back to 6000 BC. After that you explore Rupestre Patagonia Park with its native forests, rock formations, and ancient cave paintings. The day ends at Laguna Sofia viewpoint where you might spot condors.

Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park
You head into Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve spanning 113,000 hectares, with a Local Specialist. The granite peaks are jagged, the lakes are turquoise, and you'll see waterfalls and creeks throughout. You visit Lake Pehoe, Salto Grande waterfall, and Lago Gray viewpoint (which overlooks Gray Glacier). Watch for guanacos, foxes, and swans as you go. Later you explore Laguna Amarga to see the Torres from the east side and spot cyanobacteria with stromatolites. The day wraps up at Blue Lagoon with its striking cerulean-colored waters.

Torres del Paine to Cerro Castillo
You experience a Be My Guest afternoon at Estancia Tierra de Overjeros, a working ranch in Cerro Castillo run by Raúl and América. They'll show you how generations of hard work have shaped life in this remote Patagonian region, and you'll watch Raúl and his sheepdogs demonstrate how they guide the flocks using voice and whistle commands. You'll see how wool gets prepared for export. Then you sit down with your hosts for a traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue with welcome drink, regional dishes, homemade dessert, and fresh bread with Pebre sauce.

Cerro Castillo to Puerto Natales
You travel by boat up the Rio Serrano, heading toward Serrano Glacier and passing the Southern Icefield. With a Local Specialist, you explore the glacier and hike through cool rainforest landscapes to Seno Última Esperanza (the Fjord of the Last Hope), where you see the rest of the Southern Patagonian Icefield. From there, the boat continues through the fjord with views of Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers in the background. This evening you join your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a farewell dinner.

You travel to the peninsula town of Punta Arenas and board your flight to Santiago International Airport, where your Patagonia adventure ends. Keep in mind your plane arrives at 8 p.m., so plan accordingly if you're booking any onward flights.
