Accommodated food needs creatively, although the gluten-free option - while better than previous experience with CroisiEurope - could still be improved. More gluten-free chocolate croissants! Nice selection of evening entertainment. Never a dull moment; but one was able just to sit and read or watch the scenery go by if wanted. Although we choose CroisiEurope partly for the French immersion experience, being paired with other English speakers at meals worked very well. Our American compatriots were grateful to have English-speaking companions, and for us it relieved the intensity that would have been entailed by full French immersion. Being forced to sit at the same table each meal without having to choose one's fellow diners in the first place was not pleasant. Staff were rude and unhelpful, happy to stand and watch without ever offering assistance. Asked on December 28th, 2023We want a one-way guided tour from Porto to Salamanca - where we will be on our own then. Tell us if you have a product for us.
CroisiEurope River CruisesOperator•Written December 2023Regarding your question, I'm afraid we don't offer any cruises that start in Porto and end in Salamanca, usually Salamanca is just a stop, and because it is a shore excursion, there's no way for you to disembark and join the group bus to Salamanca.
