What people love about touring Southern Spain solo
- Best of Southern Spain
Overall good but areas where improvement / changes/ upgrades would make it better.
- From Madrid to Barcelona
Itinerary good. Guide good Multiple languages was difficult at times to listen or understand
- Andalucia & Toledo, 4 days
The local guides were excellent and so knowledgeable. The cities you get to visit are amazing and worth staying there. There definitely should be better organization. They don’t give you an itinerary besides a general one; it would be much better if they gave each person a printed out version of when we are doing activities/guides and what they are. Especially since times for dinner/when to meet are just said verbally on the bus but they don’t make sure everyone heard it. For example some people were sleeping when important times were mentioned and they did not clarify or check to make sure everyone knew. Additionally, they should tell people beforehand in Sevilla that they need their physical passports to enter the heritage sites and also mention that they sell our very fast so we could have bought tickets beforehand. If they had an itinerary with all this info it it would help. I was very disappointed I wasn’t able to visit the alcazar in Seville. They also make you put in your dietary restrictions and I did, but it was completely ignored. The restaurants would try and accommodate but for one meal I just had potatoes for the entree. So be prepared to just buy your own meals if you don’t eat a certain type of food. I would still recommend this group, but if you have more time pick one that is longer, I wished we had more time at each city and more free time. Also, bring a bottle of hot sauce or something if you like spices; the meals were very plain.
