What people love about touring Azores Archipelago solo
- Azores Island Hopping: São Miguel, Faial and Terceira
First time booking with Tourradar. I was blown away by the stunning natural beauty of these Portuguese islands. From the lush green of São Miguel to the dramatic volcanic formations of Faial, every island offered something unique and unforgettable. The tour was well-organized, with comfortable accommodations and knowledgeable guides. The whale watching excursion in São Miguel was a highlight, as we were lucky and spotted several species of whales and dolphins. Hiking through the Furnas Valley, exploring the historic town of Angra do Heroísmo, and relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Faial were also incredible experiences. If you’re looking for a unique European destination with stunning scenery, rich culture, and outdoor adventure, the Azores is the perfect choice. Portugal Travel Center’s Island Hopping tour is a great way to explore the Azores.
- Best of the Azores: 7 days in São Miguel
This was my first time with Tour Radar (or any travel company as I’ve always planned my own trips). Danielle was wonderful and answered any questions or concerns in a timely manner. The Azores were beautiful, the hotel was lovely and convenient and the tours were well run. Thank you. I will travel with Tour Radar in the future. Martha Mashburn
- Best of Porto & Azores in 9 days
Having previously explored Lisbon many years ago, we were eager to delve deeper into Portugal's diverse landscapes. Our second visit to Porto and Ponta Delgada, though bustling, reinforced our decision to return. The country's charm and hospitality are truly unmatched. Our accommodations, were impeccably located, clean, and comfortable. The Douro Valley hotel views were a standout. Sao Miguel Island, however, was the crown jewel of this trip and we will definitely be back to explore more islands in the Azores.
