What people love about touring Nordic / Scandinavia solo
- Jewels of Scandinavia End Tallinn (7 destinations)
Drivers: Ahmed from Airport to hotel transfer was friendly and patient. He did not receive flight, passport control and baggage delayed information emailed and Whatsapp text to Europamundo. Valdas tour driver needs to smile and be friendly. Tour leaders and Local Guides: Lorenzo is Overall an excellent tour leader. Informative and caring leader to people's needs. Andre is great, friendly and informative. Luna in Copenhagen and Mia in Stockholm are local guides. They should include in their routes toilet stop badly needed. Not friendly nor caring. Gabriella in Stockholm is an excellent guide. Very informative and cares to help. Irene in Tallin even in a bad weather was great. Hotels Feedback: The usual complaints at your partners. Floors in room and toilet are dirty, need daily mopping and vacuum even under bed. Dirty toilet, bath tub n lavatory, need daily scrubbing. Sticky door knobs, furnitures and remote control, need daily cleaning and sanitizing. Window curtains dusty, need weekly washing. Hotels who cater to foreigners should offer a free English channel daily. Sad not to care about paying travelers. Lifts are good. Better hotel locations near market but again no washer/dryer in the property.
- From Copenhagen to Helsinki
We had a wonderful time on this trip. We arrived a couple days earlier to spend time in Copenhagen. Tour was well organized and hotels were good, excellent for the hotel in Oslo that was adjacent to a gas station. There were 2 days that seemed long on the bus, but the destinations were completely worth it. Lorenzo was our guide and did and excellent job of providing relevant data around the destinations. He also kept our tour well organized.
- Copenhagen to Helsinki
We took this tour in July 2024. It’s billed as a low cost tour. Every hotel was excellent and included a great breakfast. When we stayed two nights, those hotels were not in town but they were on a well serviced commuter train line allowing you to stay late in town. The included dinners were fine but either not representative of the region or insufficient portions. As a low cost tour, there were very few inclusions but you could pay for optionals. We opted to buy museum cards for Copenhagen and Helsinki and fared much better. The ferry rooms did NOT have windows - don’t be deceived by the images in the brochure. We were happy with our guide, Matt who was patient, kind, and professional.
