With over 1000+ Choice Optional Experiences to choose from, you get to experience a destination in your own way. That's why Costsaver is the ultimate unpackaged tour.
Is there a single supplement?
If you prefer the privacy of your own room, you can opt for a solo room. This option incurs a single traveller supplement. The cost will depend on the trip and departure date. On many departures, you can enjoy single room upgrades or reduced single supplements.
What is a Travel Director?
Our Travel Directors come from a variety of backgrounds, but they all share a passion for travel and their home countries. These experienced professionals show you what the guidebooks can’t – a true insider’s perspective of each destination. Each Travel Director has been through a bespoke training program, and many have at least five years’ experience under their belt.
What facilities can I expect on a Costsaver coach?
Regardless of where in the world your tour visits, we do our best to ensure your coach is as comfortable as it can be. However, there can be differences depending on where in the world you're visiting.
Costsaver Coaches in Europe, North & South America, Australia, and New Zealand tours
We take great pride in having the finest fleet of fuel-efficient, fully air-conditioned coaches – all with reclining seats and on-board restrooms. The coach windows have a high vantage point perfect to take in all the glorious scenery, whether it’s a grand rural landscape or an urban city center.
We also have onboard Wi-Fi. Please note, the coach Wi-Fi uses the 3G mobile network, which means the connection can be slower than standard broadband.Costsaver Coaches in Africa and Asia tours
We're proud to offer luxury air-conditioned coaches with Wi-Fi in most countries. Africa and Asia tour vehicles do not have Wi-Fi on board. On Asia tours, there are no onboard restrooms
Will I have enough free time?
Yes. At Costsaver we take care of the essentials, and you tailor the rest. Each trip includes the must-see sights plus plenty of free time to fill with whatever you choose. With over 1000+ Choice Optional Experiences across our tours, there's something for everyone.
What if I become ill on my trip and am unable to continue?
Your Travel Director will assist you with a doctor’s visit or hospitalization should you require. Costsaver’s dedicated Guest Support Department in Europe, or Operations Department in the relevant country, will contact you to offer assistance and advice, coordinate with your travel insurance company, and keep in touch until you are able to re-join the trip or return home. This service is included in the cost of your trip; however, it is not a replacement for travel insurance.
Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance prior to your trip. This will ensure you have peace of mind before and while travelling.
Your insurance should cover trip interruption, personal injury, medical expenses, and evacuation and patriation cover (including during pandemic events).
What do I need to know about border crossings, visa requirements, and passports?
Information about border crossings and visa requirements varies by destination. Please check the destination you're visiting prior to traveling for more information.
Guests are required to ensure that their passports remain valid for at least six months beyond the end of their journey and obtain all necessary visas and permits. Multiple-entry visas may be necessary for countries visited more than once during the trip.What do I need to know about border crossings, visa requirements, and passports?
It is essential for guests to contact the nearest embassy or consulate of the countries they plan to visit well in advance, as visa requirements may vary based on your passport’s place of issue, and the processes can be time-consuming.
It is also advised to consult with your Travel Agency, the local consulate or Embassy of the visited countries to determine visa requirements and the application process.
