What people love about France Tours in September
- Best of France Tour
I recently took the Best of France Tour and it did not disappoint ! The tour was 6-days, even though it could be considered as a short tour I felt like I saw a lot. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and the guides were very knowledgeable, also very friendly and approachable. The meals were delicious, and even though France has a complicated subway system, Alex from Eskapas was very helpful to guide me. From the opulent Palace of Versailles to the quaint villages of Provence and the scenic French Riviera, every stop on the tour was a unique and enriching cultural experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore what France has to offer.
- French Dream
The 5-day French Dream tour was an unforgettable, wonderful experience. Everything was smooth and well organized, the tour guide was friendly, personable and knowledgeable, explaining everything in two languages no less. The places and castles we visited were well-chosen, beautiful and historic, as well as discovering the quaint, fairy-tale medieval villages. We were also given enough free time to explore these on our own. There was a good variety of experiences including a visit to see the ancient Lascau rock paintings, a descent into another cave with boating on an underground river, and a wine-tasting in Bordeaux where we stayed in a really nice high end hotel. One disappointment was that we did not stay over in beautiful Rocamadour as planned, but in Brivé. The other disappointment was the included dinner on the first night of the tour consisting of a tasteless dry chicken breast and fries, although the starter salad and dessert were acceptable. The quality of the hotels were quite good with big, comfortable beds and full breakfasts included. Overall a very positive experience and an amazing trip which we thoroughly enjoyed.
- Normandy, Brittany & The Loire Valley (Classic)
Tour director was the best above and beyond what we expected. The hotels were great food was good would have like other choices the tour was very good with great guides

The Bordeaux region comes alive with special harvest events particularly in Saint-Emilion and Médoc. Accommodations range from boutique properties like Hotel Les Sables D'Ocre in Roussillon to larger establishments such as Mercure Bordeaux Meriadeck.
