Paris
You'll arrive in Paris by 3:00pm and meet your tour director and fellow travelers for a welcome drink. After that, take some time walking through the city's streets, checking out local sites along the way. Later, head to a local restaurant for dinner with classic French cuisine.

- Day 2
Paris to Tours via Chartres
Drive through the French countryside toward the Loire Valley. By late morning, you'll reach Chartres for a walking tour and guided visit of the Gothic cathedral built in 1220. There's free time for lunch and wandering the medieval streets. From there, continue to Amboise to see Château du Clos Lucé, where Leonardo da Vinci lived and worked, checking out his workshop, bedroom, and replicas of his inventions. Finish the day in Tours, checking into your hotel for the next two nights.

- Day 3
Tours
Start with a slower morning before heading to Chenonceaux to explore Château de Chenonceau, built between 1513 and 1517 on the Cher River. Walk through its rooms and gardens. Then continue to Caves Monmousseau Winery in Montrichard for an underground cellar tour carved into tufa stone and a tasting of their sparkling wines with local food. Get back to Tours for the evening with time on your own, maybe walking by Roman ruins or having wine while taking in the city's atmosphere.

Tours to Rennes via Villandry and Angers
After breakfast, drive to Villandry to visit Château de Villandry, a Renaissance château with detailed gardens featuring manicured hedges, pruned trees, and colorful flowers. Continue to Angers to see Château d'Angers from 1230 and its 14th century Apocalypse Tapestry, the largest surviving set of medieval tapestries. In the afternoon, head to Rennes, the capital of Brittany, known for medieval half-timbered houses and a strong restaurant scene.

Rennes to Saint Malo via Dinan
Start with a guided tour of Rennes, passing the Palais du Parlement de Bretagne and the medieval old town. Visit Rennes Cathedral to see marble from the Roman Forum on the altar and its mix of Gothic and Neoclassical styles. Head northwest to Dinan with its cobblestone streets and half-timbered houses, with free time to walk around and grab lunch. In the afternoon, travel to Saint Malo on the English Channel, first settled in the 8th century. Spend the evening exploring the city's laneways, buildings, and coastline, and consider trying one of the local crêperies for dinner.

- Day 6
Saint Malo
Begin at Solidor Tower in Saint-Servan, a 12th century fortified dungeon with three towers where you can see great views. Then travel by coach through coastal scenery to Cap Frehel to see dramatic cliffs plunging into the water, fertile moors, and geological formations while watching for birdlife. Return to Saint Malo for free time to eat before a guided port tour, walking through the city and along the ancient ramparts with views across the English Channel. In the afternoon, go to Cancale to visit a local oyster farm, learn about the process, and taste fresh oysters before heading back to Saint Malo for the evening.

Saint Malo to Bayeux via Mont Saint-Michel
Travel to Mont Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage fortress on an islet surrounded by tides in the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel. Approach via the causeway and see the Benedictine Abbey built in 966. You'll have a guided abbey tour and free time for lunch in this setting. In the afternoon, head to Ducy-Sainte-Marguerite to visit Les Vergers de Ducy apple orchards. Tour the property producing apple cider, cider vinegar, apple juice, and Pommeau de Normandie, then taste their apple beverages. Continue to your hotel in Bayeux and spend the evening walking among the elegant 17th and 18th century mansions on medieval streets.

D-Day Beaches
Spend the day exploring Normandy's World War II history. Start at Colleville-sur-Mer (Omaha Beach) with a visit to the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial to learn about and pay respects to WWII events. Continue to Pointe du Hoc, which played an important role during the conflict. Stop at Sainte Mere Église (Utah Beach) for lunch. Later, experience a historical tour in classic World War II open-top jeeps, exploring key D-Day locations from a unique perspective and learning about the 1944 invasion.

Bayeux to Rouen via Livarot and Honfleur
Leave Bayeux and head to Livarot for a cheese tasting at Fromagerie E. Graindorge, trying traditional cheeses from this family-operated business running for three decades. Continue to Honfleur, a colorful port on the southern bank of the Seine that looks similar to Copenhagen. This historic fishing port attracted French impressionist painters like Claude Monet. Enjoy free time exploring its harbor and marina that once served as a vital trade hub. In the early afternoon, continue to Rouen, Normandy's cultural capital, with centuries of preserved architecture and a nice port. Have a farewell dinner at a local restaurant featuring Rouen's gastronomic traditions.

Rouen to Paris
After breakfast, explore Rouen on foot, passing by the Palais de Justice before visiting the Gothic cathedral with three towers that holds Richard the Lionheart's sarcophagus. Visit the Church of Saint Joan of Arc, built on the exact site where she was burned at the stake in the 15th century. Then continue at the Historical Jeanne d'Arc Museum to see exhibitions about her second trial in the Archbishop's Palace. Drive out to Giverny to see Claude Monet's home and gardens with vibrant flower beds and water lily ponds that inspired his works. Return to Paris around 6:00pm, finishing your tour.
