What people love about Wildlife Tours from Vancouver
- Spirit of the Rockies
Enjoyed the trip , size of group was excellent, tour guide good and knowledgeable. Whale watching tour poor- boat was very crowded, uncomfortable to move around. The weather changed and everyone outside had to came inside ( for safety) which meant people had to stand the remainder of the journey in rough conditions.. this trip was a waste of time and money extremely uncomfortable and potentially unsafe. A person with minor mobility, balance issues safety could have been compromised in these rough and crowded conditions. I know you cannot foresee bad weather, however if the tour operator had not been greedy to have the boat at total capacity the bad weather may have been a little more tolerable. Maybe if weather forecast of strong winds was looked into the boat should have never left the shore. They were cancelled in the afternoon. Extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant excursion. ( we had only left the port for less than 10 minutes and I said to my husband , we should have chosen the high tea)) Feeling unsafe, crowded , cold, wet and seated, unable to move for over an hour of the trip clouded my experience of the tour on the last day.
- Majestic Rockies with the Rocky Mountaineer
The tour was well planed in spite of the challenges the tour leader faced. Safety precautions were taken as much as possible. Accommodations were from very good to good to adequate. We had a great tour leader with a wealth of local knowledge. I have only good things to say. I will recommend the tour to anyone that asks me about my experience.
- Canadian Rockies: National Parks Eastbound
Gadventures, was a fantastic company and we had an exceptional guide. The whole trip was wonderful and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
