What a truly fantastic trip filled with care, laughter, knowledge and culture. Honestly Intro Vietnam was more than I couldve imagined- the rain, the heat, kayaking Ha Long Bay, biking in Ninh Binh, the sweat up Dragon Mountain, beautiful lanterns in Hoi An, amazing boat trips and very good food. The views are breathtaking! Everything had been arranged to the minute, hour, day perfectly and Phat always accommodated our needs if he saw we were tired or needing a little more time. What an amazing group leader - it would be hard to beat Phatty - the best I have ever experienced on any group trip. He loves his country and the passion and care he has is contagious. Leo - we were so fortunate to have him join our trip - he will be a fantastic leader, thanks for all the laughs and smiles. Leaving this trip was hard as Phatty and Leo had brought us together as a group - “family”. Nothing was a problem and they never made it seem like a job - they enjoyed our company and was invested the whole time. Asked on August 16th, 2025would it be possible to join this tour from day 4 at Ninh Binh? I visited Hanoi and Ha Long Bay on a previous tour last year and would prefer to visit Ho Chi Minh City instead of Hanoi. Ideally, I'd like to visit the following places: Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Hoi An. Do you have any tours covering the above that are available between available to travel between 1-12 September? Or failing that, is it possible to mix part of one tour with another? Or get advice on tailoring certain elements.
INTRO TravelOperator•Written August 2025We do not offer customised tours, so we wouldn't be able to accommodate that. We could potentially explore the option of you joining from day 4 of the tour, but we would need to check with the local team first, as it may be logistically challenging. Please note that if you were to join for only part of the tour, the price would remain the same, as it is a package priced tour. We have a 12 day Vietnam Intro tour that starts on the 2nd September and finishes in Vietnam on the 13th September, with the possibility of you joining on the 5th September in Ninh Binh. After Ninh Binh, you would travel to Hoi An and then Ho Chi Minh City. Would you like us to look in to this for you?

The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 39, but we regularly have people in their 40's+ travel with us and have an incredible time! As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly! We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Also Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings. Please note, a private room wouldn't be possible on the overnight train.
