What people love about Osaka Tours
- 7 Days Highlights of Japan 2025-2026
Loved every minute of the tour. We did the golden route tour including Hiroshima. Went in Cherry Blossom season and saw plenty of Cherry Blossom and got to see Mt Fuji. Our guide and driver Kita SAN were both excellent and went out of their way to show us extra spots with great viewing platforms Could highly recommend it

wonderful experience! This isn’t one of the places I would like to go back to again.
- Japan Kansai - 6 Days
5 stars for Super Value Tours! We just returned from a family trip with SuperValue Tours (the Japan - Kansai 7 day) and it was better than I could have imagined. From the very start where we were met at the airport by a delightful woman who escorted us to our bus which took us to the hotel in Tokyo, to the fabulous hotels and restaurants included in the tour, to the most amazing, kind and helpful tour guide (Junko - “J”), every detail was taken care of for us. Junko was so good at working with and communicating with our group (a nice sized group of 19). I feel she went above and beyond my all my expectations. The tour was truly outstanding and Junko made it perfect. We saw so much, had experiences that were quite memorable (think karaoke in our Japanese garb at the Japanese banquet feast), to dining in beautiful restaurants. The bus and driver were an added bonus - so considerate and punctual. The hotels were all first rate - I was very impressed. I highly recommend this tour company to any one traveling to Japan. Using SuperValue Tours took the stress and challenge out of navigating a new country. I also was most appreciative of the Los Angeles office (particularly Sachi) who was always prompt in answering my questions. I feel the tour was an extremely good value for the price paid. Excellent company, superb tour guide (thank you, “J”) and an experience of a lifetime!

What are the best areas to stay in Osaka for first-time visitors?
First-time visitors should focus on the energetic neighborhoods of Namba and Dotonbori where food culture and nightlife thrive. The centrally located Moxy Osaka Honmachi (part of Marriott) puts you within walking distance of major sights. For a more upscale experience the Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA offers 4-star comfort near prime shopping areas. The bustling Shinsaibashi district connects visitors to both the main shopping street and Kuromon Ichiba Market where local delicacies abound. Recent travelers note that "the hotel locations made it easy to explore the city's highlights independently."
What unique food experiences should I try in Osaka?
No visit to Japan's culinary capital is complete without exploring Kuromon Ichiba Market where vendors serve fresh seafood and local specialties. The neon-lit Dotonbori district serves as the city's street food headquarters offering takoyaki octopus balls okonomiyaki pancakes and premium Kobe beef. Local food culture comes alive in Hozenji Yokocho's traditional izakayas. The famous Kani Doraku restaurant marked by its moving mechanical crab draws crowds for its regional crab dishes. One traveler shared: "The food tour through Dotonbori was incredible - we tried so many local specialties and our guide explained the history behind each dish."
How many days should I spend in Osaka to see the main attractions?
Plan for 3-4 days to experience Osaka's essential sights without rushing. This allows time to explore the historic Osaka Castle grounds discover the energy of Dotonbori and Kuromon Market and visit cultural landmarks like Hozenji Temple and the Museum of History. Set aside time for the Umeda Sky Building's observation deck which offers panoramic city views. According to a recent visitor: "Three days gave us enough time to see the major sites while still having time to explore the local food scene."
What's the best time of year to visit Osaka?
The most favorable seasons are spring (March to May) and autumn (October to November) when mild temperatures create perfect conditions for exploring. Cherry blossoms transform Osaka Castle Park in late March through early April. Fall brings red and gold leaves to temple grounds and city parks.
