What people love about Bicycle Tours in Northern Italy
- Cycling from Alps to Adriatic Sea via Friuli Venezia GiuliaThe two of us enjoyed the Slovenia and Italy bike tour, which is a 7 day tour, but involves 6 days of actual riding. I consider myself a complete beginner when it comes to bike riding, but found the trip manageable. The route is mostly flat/hilly. There were a few climbs, which were made easy with the use of the e-bike. The vast majority of the tour is on bike paths/trails, but there are some short parts where you are riding on roads shared with cars. Decent quality accommodation in 3-4 star hotels, which all served buffet breakfasts. Navigation app was perfect and easy to follow. Good quality bike and helmet. Small waterproof bike bag provided by the company. Overall the trip was well organised and I would recommend this company if you’re considering a bike tour.
- Cycle Dolomites, Lake Garda and VeronaWell organised tour with a fabulous experienced guide who weaved us in and out of every town, the hotels were generally better than expected. I can't wait to do another one!
- Italy's Alpine Valleys - Sud Tyrol, Lake Garda and Verona - Classic Self Guided - new 2026 itinerary!Absolutely brilliant tour. It trends downhill, but you can tweak every day to add something extra on, so it’s very adaptable. Recommend Mendelpass (even if you take the fenicular up) the other side is stunning. Hotels were all top notch, luggage transfers worked like clockwork. And Cycle Europe organised it all despite the fact that their office was flooded out. We were truly impressed.
