Are these two places close to each other? If not, which one would you recommend as more interesting? Can I obtain a visa upon arrival in Algiers?

Should we find a solo traveler interested in sharing a room, we will let you know. However, all confirmed participants at the moment are either in double occupancy or have opted to pay the single supplement for privacy. To visit either Timimoun or Tamanrasset, flights to and from Algiers are required. The minimum extension is 3 days for Timimoun or 4 days for Tamanrasset.

Is the Ghardaia–Algiers flight included in the price, and at what time does it usually depart? Also, could you please advise what time I should schedule my international flight back home on the last day?

The domestic flight is not included on the program that is extra cost on your side. Once you confirm the trip we can help secure the ticket. That flight is around $165. The last day you should book award flight from 8pm.

The tour is available for departure on February 1, 2026, and we can reserve your spot accordingly. Regarding your visa: While Algeria does not currently offer visa-on-arrival for most nationalities, we do provide full assistance with the visa application process. This includes a formal invitation letter and necessary documentation to facilitate your application at the nearest Algerian embassy or consulate.

Traveler•Written July 2025After reading more about Algeria, my interests for a tour have changed. Train system, metro, cable cars, trams. Small fox, monk seal, barbary macaque, sahara cheetah; sahara cypress. Couscous and Rai music. Tallest minaret, Tasssili n'Ajjer National park. Timgad and M'zab valley fortified cities, and the Mediterranean coastline. The Timeless tour includes Constantine, Ghardaia, Tipasa with no mention of 'my list'.
