Fazana to Rovinj
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll start a 40 km coastal cycling route to Rovinj along moderate terrain with the Adriatic on one side and vineyards on the other. Starting with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you'll cycle 40 km along the Suncana Obala Grofa Hüterotta trail showcasing Rovinj's shoreline, clear waters, secluded beaches, and Mediterranean plants. You'll see the old town with Venetian houses and St. Euphemia's Church. Mid-route, there's an optional 30-minute horseback riding session through the Istrian countryside, or you can explore the area at a slower pace. Lunch features peka, traditional slow-cooked lamb or veal with vegetables, paired with Istrian Teran or Merlot.

After a final breakfast in Rovinj, you'll cycle 40 km through Istria's interior landscapes, passing through Bale, Svetvincenat, the abandoned medieval ruins of Dvigrad, and Kanfanar. At Dvigrad's atmospheric ruins, you'll taste thinly sliced prosciutto dry-cured with aromatic herbs. The route continues through rolling countryside back to Rovinj for lunch celebrating Istrian cuisine, including fish baked in salt crust and handmade pasta. From there, you'll transfer to the hilltop village of Motovun and check into Boutique Hotel Kastel, perched above medieval walls with panoramic views.

Motovun
You'll cycle 42 km along the Parenzana, a converted railway track that's now a well-maintained, mostly flat trail through Istria's interior. The route runs from Motovun to the artistic village of Grozenjan and back. In Livade, known for its truffles, you'll taste artisanal honey with different floral notes. After brunch at a local restaurant, you'll head out on an authentic truffle hunting experience in the Mirna Valley forests with trained hunters and their dogs. The day ends with a special tasting menu featuring black and white truffles in various preparations before returning to the hotel.
