Embarkation
You'll board the MS Elbe Princesse at 6:00 p.m. and get settled into your cabin. There's a welcome cocktail where you'll meet the captain and crew, followed by dinner as the ship heads out toward Saint-Nazaire.

Saint-Nazaire
If you're interested, there's an optional excursion to Saint-Nazaire this morning that includes a tour of the shipyard. You'll return to the ship for lunch, and then spend the afternoon sailing.

Nantes
You have two options for the morning: take a tour of Nantes and the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, or head to the Muscadet wine region with a visit to the Cassemichère Château. Either way, you'll spend the rest of your day back onboard.

Loire Valley Châteaux
This full-day excursion takes you by coach to the Loire Valley. You'll see Château d'Azay-le-Rideau built right on an island, then travel to Chinon for wine tasting and lunch. After touring Château de Chinon, you'll head back to the ship. Tonight features a special New Year's Eve dinner with celebration.
