Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you'll meet your Travel Director and the other travelers at a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant. The food and wine selection will give you a nice introduction to the region's flavors.

Barcelona
Following breakfast, a morning city tour takes you through Barcelona's architectural highlights. You'll see Gaudí's modernist works like La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, then head to Montjuïc Park to check out the Olympic sites and Columbus monument. Later, the Sagrada Familia gets your attention before you board a catamaran for a coastal sail with welcome drinks and local tapas. By afternoon, the city is yours to wander around however you'd like.

Barcelona to Valencia
After breakfast, you'll drive toward Valencia along the Costa Dorada and through the Ebro Delta region. A stop in Peñíscola lets you see filming locations from 'El Cid' and 'Game of Thrones'. Once in Valencia, you'll taste horchata and walk through the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias complex with its six distinct architectural pieces. The old town is also on your agenda to explore.

Valencia to Granada
After breakfast, you'll head south through Andalusia toward Granada, positioned between the Sierra Nevada mountains and two rivers. The day includes exploring the city's blend of Andalusian and Renaissance architecture. You'll learn flamenco dance, then have dinner paired with a live flamenco show at a traditional local venue. After eating, you'll head to a viewpoint to take in the city views from above.

Granada to Seville
Following breakfast, the Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens are your first stops. From there, you'll drive through olive-covered hills and white villages toward Seville, Andalusia's capital. This evening brings a traditional dinner with other travelers where you'll get a real taste of authentic Andalusian food and culture.

Seville
After breakfast, a guided tour covers Seville's main attractions. You'll visit the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome, then walk through the Santa Cruz quarter known for its Carmen and Don Juan connections. Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de España are also included. From there, the afternoon is yours to explore on your own.

Seville to Madrid via Córdoba
After breakfast, you'll drive to Córdoba, the ancient caliphate capital. The tour includes the impressive Mosque and a wander through the narrow Jewish Quarter streets. Then it's onward to Madrid, passing through Despeñaperros and across La Mancha, the legendary land associated with Don Quixote. You'll arrive in Madrid by evening.

During the tour, you'll have typical Madrid chocolate with churros. The afternoon is free for your own exploration. Later, you'll join fellow travelers for a farewell dinner with regional specialties.
