Itinerary
- Day 1
Edinburgh to Isle of Skye
You'll leave Edinburgh in the morning and drive through the Highlands, passing Stirling Castle and Rannoch Moor before reaching Glen Coe with its dramatic peaks. The route takes you through some of Scotland's most iconic scenery, and then you'll board a scenic ferry to the Isle of Skye. By late afternoon you'll arrive in Portree, the main town on the island, where you have free time to walk around the colourful harbour and grab dinner at a local restaurant.

Isle of Skye
This day focuses on exploring Skye itself. You'll visit the Old Man of Storr, a striking rock formation that rises above the landscape, and then head to Kilt Rock to see the waterfall dropping down the cliffsides. Throughout the day your guide will share stories about Bonnie Prince Charlie and the island's history, all while you're surrounded by the jagged Cuillin Mountains. The combination of natural scenery and local tales gives you a real sense of what made Skye significant in Scottish history.

Isle of Skye to Edinburgh
You'll cross the Skye Bridge heading east into the Highlands and stop at Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland's most photographed castles. After that, the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre shows you efforts to restore native forests in the Highlands. Later you'll reach Fort Augustus on Loch Ness for some time exploring the loch (and trying your luck spotting the famous monster). From there you visit the Commando Memorial with its views toward Ben Nevis, then head through Dunkeld village to see its historic cathedral before crossing the iconic Forth Rail Bridge. You'll arrive back in Edinburgh by early evening.
