You're arriving in Copenhagen, and if you get there early, you can walk through the pastel-coloured Nyhavn waterfront or check out Tivoli Gardens with its historic rollercoaster. The trendy Norrebro neighbourhood is worth a look too if you have time. Meet your group at 6 pm for an optional group dinner.

Copenhagen
This morning you'll join a local guide from Street Voices for a tour through Copenhagen's lesser-known areas, hearing stories from people in the city's socially vulnerable communities. After that, you have the afternoon free to explore on your own. Check out the royal palaces, visit museums, or take a dip in the free harbour baths.

Copenhagen to Gothenburg
Head out by train from Copenhagen to Malmö, crossing the famous Oresund Bridge. You'll walk through Malmö's Old Town with a leader who'll share the city's revival story. There's an option to visit the castle or the historic pharmacy if you're interested. Later, catch a train or bus to Gothenburg for the night.

Gothenburg to Vrango Island
An early ferry takes you to Vrango Island, the southernmost spot in the Gothenburg Archipelago. There's an included kayaking activity (summer only), and you can relax on the beaches or spend free time in town. An optional floating sauna is available too. You'll head back to Gothenburg in the evening.

Gothenburg to Alingsas
Travel to Alingsas, known as the Capital of Fika and a Swedish cafe culture hub. You'll tour traditional cafes with a local expert and learn about the town's coffee heritage. There's sampling of Swedish cinnamon buns, pastries, and other treats. By late afternoon, you're back in Gothenburg with free time to explore.

A morning bus takes you across the border to Oslo, Norway. Your leader gives an orientation walk through this quirky, colourful city. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace, whether that's checking out food markets, glass works, or museums. Evening brings a group dinner with traditional Norwegian food.

You have a completely free day to explore Oslo however you like. Consider walking up the Oslo Opera House roof, strolling through Vigeland Park, or catching a ferry to the Viking Ship Museum. Later in the evening, meet your new group for optional drinks or dinner.

Your leader takes you on a morning orientation walk, then you have free time to explore. You can island hop on Oslofjord, browse the harbour-front art museum, visit the food hall, explore Akershus Castle, or shop in the trendy Grünerlokka district.

Oslo to Bergen
Board a train that travels across the countryside and Hardangervidda Plateau toward Bergen. This route offers some of the highest altitude train travel between two European cities, passing through lush valleys, dramatic mountains, and beautiful lakes. You'll arrive late evening and have an optional group dinner.

Bergen
Ride the Fløibanen funicular up to 1,050 feet for panoramic views of Bergen and the sea. If you want more activity, hiking trails are available. The afternoon is free to explore the World Heritage Bryggen area on your own, wandering the medieval homes and warehouses or visiting the preserved Hanseatic Museum.

Bergen to Gudvangen Fjord Region
Travel by bus through remote landscapes and valleys to reach the fjord area. You'll stay in traditional Norwegian huts surrounded by steep cliff walls with views of the Kjelsfossen waterfall. The location is near the village of Gudvangen.

Gudvangen Fjord Region
Take a boat trip through Naeroyfjord, a World Heritage site, seeing crisp mountain peaks reflected in glassy waters. This 18 km fjord narrows to just 250 metres wide but reaches depths of 500 metres, with surrounding peaks rising to 1,400 metres. You'll finish in Flam village with an optional railway ride or hiking, then return to Gudvangen by bus.

Gudvangen to Lillehammer
A long bus journey takes you through vast high plains and remote valleys to Alpine Lillehammer. You'll pass through the Lørdal Tunnel, the world's longest road tunnel at 24.5 km, with illuminated 'mountain caves' every 6 km. Upon arrival, there's a brief orientation walk through this laid-back 19th-century town.

Lillehammer

Travel approximately 5 hours by private bus across the border into Sweden to reach Rattvik, a laid-back lakeside town in the heart of Swedish lakes, famous for the wooden Dala horse. You'll stay at a peaceful bed and breakfast located 7 km outside of town.

You'll get an introductory orientation walk, then settle into your accommodation and explore at your own pace.
