- JAJulie· September 11th, 2019Do not use MojoSurf unless all you are wanting is to party and drink. The surfing is 5/6 days reef surfing. It was not enjoyable and only 1/5 of the days was decent. Wish this was mainly beach surfing. The trip is vaguely described so that they can't be held to any standards. It's a very boring trip - hardly do anything other than surf 1-2 hours each day. You spend the majority of the trip doing nothing or transporting between islands or driving on the islands. Dorm accommodation that is not comfortable nor appropriate for a vacation package. Meals are basic food - nothing impressive. Be prepared for disrespectful Mojo staff members. The guide was the most unprofessional and rude person you could have imagined. She was constantly drunk and didn't care about the group at all. She was always wanting us to party and drink with her each night. She smoked all the time, too. She always withheld info and rarely ever communicated anything with us. The trip is overpriced and a money-making opportunity for Mojo. You can get the exact same experience by booking your own lodging and surf lessons for a fraction of the price. The lodging is normally $5-10 USD per night but they charge $25-30 USD minimum for it instead. HUGE RIPOFF. DO NOT GO ON A MOJOSURF TRIP. Mojo doesn't treat you respectfully - they treat you like someone off the street who they don't care about.Show moreTrip date: August 2019

- LLaraMcHale· May 31st, 2018I had such a blast on this trip that I extended to 8 days! My guide Kajsa kept everyone so well informed with clear and concise plan updates at appropriate points so everyone’s was always clear on what wasn’t going to happen at any given point. She was also personable and easy to get along with which made everyone relax, come out of their shells and get to know eachother quickly. Together we bonded as a group and between individuals and it was a fantastic way to learn a new skill whilst seeing so much of Indonesia with someone in the know how and with individuals from all over the world. Overall a hugely enriching process and coming in with zero surf experience I was able not to surf a hard longboard for 3 consecutive days! Would highly recommended to anyone keen for adventure and to learn :)Show moreMojosurf Indonesia commented on this reviewThanks Lara for your review. So great you enjoyed learning to surf. Indonesia is such a fun place with Kajsa as a guide. Hope you can come back for more surfing soon. Keep ripping!!!!Trip date: May 2018

- Lisa· May 31st, 2018I had a really good time at mojo. I liked that we not only surf on one spot, but also surfed on other islands. So we also had the chance to look at the surroundings. My goal of this surf trip was it to surf greens waves and with a hardboard, which I managed also thanks to the great surf instructors. They always gave me feedback. Kajsa, our guide through this trip was great and always in a cheerful mood, she also gave us feedback when we look at the surf photos from the surf lesson. She always gave us the plan for the day, where we get the best massages and food recommendations.Show moreTrip date: May 2018
- Ramona· May 1st, 2018I would fully recommend the 6-day island hopper surf tour organised by Mojosurf. It is a great way to get to see different places in Indonesia, and experience different types of waves. Particularly Lombok is an amazing surf location with stunning accommodation. The camp is well suited for beginners as well as intermediates. I have done a couple of surfcamps before, so I was no longer a beginner surfer, but all teachers helped me to take my surf to the next level riding these perfect green waves. Our tourguide Kajsa was great as well, she has a real good knowledge of all the locations. Besides that she gives great tips on how to improve the surf, she also has all the great recommendations on where to get the best massages, or just where to get the functional things along the tour. This tour is great for solo-travellers. I travelled to Indonesia by myself and met really great people during this tour. In the typical package you have shared accommodation in the most beautiful locations, and you have all the meals together (which is btw delicious too). All together, an amazing surf experience which I would definitely recommend!Show moreTrip date: April 2018
