Asked on February 2nd, 2025What type of discount do you offer for 7 adults and two children (ages 5 and 7)? Is the price for children less? Do we have to pay for everything in advance?
On The Go ToursOperator•Written February 2025Unfortunately, this tour requires a minimum age of 15 and we are not able to accommodate anyone under this age. Our lowest minimum age for all of our China tours is 12 years old on some of our other tours.

Asked on January 11th, 2025I will be traveling solo, what would my price be for this trip? Do you have a program for solo travelers of same gender to share a room? Will we have to climb the Great Wall in Beijing, China, to be able to walk on it? Would there be a cable car, or steps or ladder provided? If that portion of the Great Wall is submerged in water, how can we stay 100% dry? What do we bring with us to stay dry? What month is the best time to go on this trip so one is not too cold or hot?

Please advise which date you wish to depart and I'll be happy to give you the price. You are unable to share on this tour. Yes, you can climb/walk on the wall - the part we take you to is not submerged in water - there I no ladder or steps provided. April, May June are the best times to go for pleasant weather.

Traveler•Written January 2025I am a senior citizen who would like to go on this tour very much because of the places it goes and things to see; however, I am concerned only about trying to climb a very high, steep, rock wall since I have never done any kind of rock climbing or even mountain climbing. Is there another way I could ascend this wall on this tour? There are other tours that use a cable car for tourists to ascend and desend The Great Wall, but those tours do not go to all of places that this tour goes, such as to see the Pandas or the Largest Budda (a UNESCO site).

There is no climbing or steep climbing required. If you can walk up a steep hill with uneven rocky ground - you will be able to do this. We offer no other ways for you to ascend the wall.
