  1. Day 1

    Marrakech

    Your On The Go representative will meet you at Marrakech Airport and drive you to your hotel or riad in the city center. After a brief tour orientation, the day is free for you to settle in and rest if needed. If you're feeling energized this evening, head out to Djemaa el Fna Square where you'll find snake charmers, storytellers, food vendors, and active souks.

  2. Day 2

    Marrakech

    This morning you'll join a guided tour through Marrakech's Medina, the old city center. The tour covers the Koutoubia Mosque, historic palaces, the bustling souks, and the Mellah where the Jewish Quarter is located. By afternoon, you have the choice to visit the peaceful Jardins de Majorelle gardens or simply relax back at your accommodation.

    Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate

    You'll start early when your guide and driver pick you up to head into the desert. The route winds through the High Atlas Mountains with sharp passes and views before descending to the red rocky foothills. You'll walk around Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified city with well-preserved Kasbahs that appeared in Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. That night you'll stay in Ouarzazate, Morocco's film capital.

  4. Day 4

    Erg Chebbi

    The drive continues through the Valley of the Roses and Skoura Oasis, passing the Amerdhil Kasbah along the way. Lunch stops at the scenic Gorge du Dades before heading toward the Sarhro Mountains. You'll see old Khettara wells dug by nomads centuries ago as the landscape shifts. By evening you'll reach Merzouga at the edge of Erg Chebbi sand dune, with time to watch the sunset paint the dunes before darkness falls.

  5. Day 5

    Erg Chebbi

    This day is yours to spend however you like in the desert. Rise before dawn and climb Erg Chebbi to watch the sunrise over the dunes, or sleep in and take a camel trek across the sand dunes later in the afternoon.

  6. Day 6

    Fes

    It's a long but scenic drive northward from the desert into the High Atlas, passing the Ziz Gorge. You'll cross through Midelt on grassy plains where Ait Atta Tafoukht nomads pitch tents and herd camels and goats. Then the route climbs over the Middle Atlas Mountains through ancient Cedar Forests where monkeys, wild boar, and deer roam. After passing through Ifrane, a Swiss-style ski town, you'll descend into Fes by evening.

  7. Day 7

    Fes

    Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world, and it's a busy place full of activity. This morning your guide takes you through the old medina where tanneries, spice vendors, pottery makers, and working donkeys fill the streets with sights and smells. The afternoon is free, so you can wander on your own and take photos.

  8. Day 8

    Volubilis - Rabat

    You'll leave Fes and travel to the ruins of Volubilis, a well-preserved Roman city. The route passes through fields of lentils and chickpeas before reaching the site where you can walk among mosaics and the old forum. After lunch, you'll pass through Moulay Idriss and continue on to Rabat, Morocco's capital, where you'll spend the night.

    Marrakech
