You'll arrive in Athens and get settled at your hotel, then meet your Travel Director and fellow travelers for an informal dinner to kick off your Greek journey.

Peloponnese
Head through the scenic northeast Peloponnese past the Corinth Canal to reach the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus and the Sanctuary of Asclepius, where you'll get to experience the exceptional acoustics. Then you'll stop at a family-run olive oil mill to learn about sustainable farming and taste their award-winning oils. By evening, you'll arrive in the seaport town of Nafplion.

Mycenae
A Local Specialist will guide you through the Bronze Age ruins of Mycenae, including the famous Lion Gate and Agamemnon's Royal Palace and tomb. In the afternoon, you'll sample wines from the nearby Nemea region and get background on local wine production. The rest of the day in Nafplion is yours to explore at your own pace.

Olympia
Travel across the Peloponnese toward Olympia, where ancient athletes once competed. You'll walk through temple ruins, check out the museum, and step onto the stadium with a Local Specialist. Later this evening, the Karabelas family invites you to their olive and wine farm for a Be My Guest experience with traditional dinner and dancing.

Corfu
You'll head north past Amphilochia and Preveza to Nikopolis, site of the Battle of Actium. After that, a ferry takes you across to the island of Corfu. You'll have free time to wander through its architecture, arcades, and the Spianada, one of Greece's largest squares.

- Day 6
Corfu
Start with an orientation tour of Corfu, then visit the Venetian Castle and the Monastery of Paleokastritsa. Evening is unstructured for relaxation at your hotel.

Ioannina
Leaving Corfu, you'll sail back to the mainland and continue on to Ioannina, a lively lakeside city. Free time lets you stroll along the peaceful lakeshore and walk through the Old Town with its Ottoman and Byzantine landmarks, including the castle that overlooks Lake Pamvotis.

Meteora
Start with Metsovone cheese, then head to Kalambaka. A Local Specialist takes you through the UNESCO-listed Meteora rock formations, explaining these towering pillars and the centuries-old monasteries built into them. Delphi
You'll traverse the peaks of Parnassos and Giona, stopping at Thermopylae where Leonidas and his 300 Spartans fought the invading Persians. A Local Specialist guides you through Delphi, exploring the Sacred Way, Temple of Apollo, and the ancient sanctuary that housed the most important oracle. From there, continue to the harbor village of Galaxidi for the night.

You'll also see Hadrian's Arch and the stadium where the first modern Olympics took place in 1896. The trip concludes with a final dinner celebrating your journey with fellow travelers.
