Customer Reviews

  • The Rhine and Moselle Rivers (port-to-port cruise) reviewer 1

When I purchased the cruise, I was promised that it will be operated in English. But reality was absolutely different. While boarding the cruise manager told me that I am the only one who does not speak French and because of that they have problem. So, all communication on board was in French and only few in English. I purchased the complete package of guided tours but in reality I did not get anything. For example, In Cochem the guide/animator told me “You can walk around the city yourself”. But I PAYED for guided tour! After the cruise I have read previous reviews and I found that language problem repeated from year to year. And CroisiEurope many times promised to solve it but did nothing. Besides that at the end of cruise I was forced to pay additional 50 euros for transfer to Strasbourg otherwise I won’t be allowed on the bus. When I purchased the cruise in the Itinerary was mentioned “Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. and enjoying a free time in Cochem. Coach transfer back to Strasbourg. End of our services.”, but CroisiEurope decided to earn some extra money. And the last but not the least, Internet on board was very weak at least in me cabin. I hope that CroisiEurope will refund me money for service not provided (guided tours) and for transfer to Strasbourg.
