Itinerary
- Day 1
Siem Reap
Your flight gets in to Siem Reap and someone picks you up from the airport for the drive to your hotel. Once you've settled in, the afternoon and evening are open. You can head over to Angkor Wat if you're not too tired, check out the night market for some local goods and food, or just take it easy at your hotel and try some Cambodian cuisine at a nearby restaurant.

- Day 2
Siem Reap
After eating breakfast at your hotel, you'll spend the full day exploring temples in Angkor Thom starting with Bayon Temple in the center, where you can get good photos. From there you'll see the Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of Elephants, then move on to Baphuon temple. Later you'll walk through the jungle-covered Ta Prohm temple before finishing at Angkor Wat for more time there. You head back to your hotel in the evening.

- Day 3
Siem Reap to Phnom Penh
This morning you take a boat on Tonle Sap Lake to see the floating villages where local fishermen live and work. You'll pass floating schools and even floating police stations out on the water. After the boat ride ends, a car takes you to the Siem Reap bus station where you board a shuttle heading to Phnom Penh. You'll arrive at your hotel there by evening for check-in.

Phnom Penh
Following breakfast, you'll tour the Royal Palace with its traditional Khmer architecture and the Silver Pagoda next door, which has Buddha statues decorated with diamonds and emeralds. The National Museum comes next, where there are over 5,000 art objects on display. Before noon you see the Independence Monument, which marks Cambodia's independence. Then you browse the Central Market with its rows of gold shops, antiques, fabrics, and seafood vendors. In the afternoon you head up to Wat Phnom temple on a hill where locals come to pray. As the day winds down, you take a sunset cruise along the Mekong River with views of the Royal Palace before returning to your hotel.

Phnom Penh
Start the morning with a good breakfast at your hotel, then you have free time to walk around Phnom Penh and hit any attractions you missed or do some shopping around the city. In the afternoon, your driver picks you up from the hotel and takes you to the airport for your flight out.
