Itinerary
- Day 1
Ushuaia
You'll head to the downtown Ushuaia office sometime between 10 AM and 5 PM to check in, then make your way to board the Australis cruise at 6 PM. Once on board, there's a welcoming toast and you'll meet the captain and crew before the ship departs into the Beagle Channel. From there you're crossing from Argentina into Chilean waters, heading toward one of Earth's most remote regions.

- Day 2
Wulaia Bay
Early in the morning you'll arrive at Cape Horn National Park for a shore visit to the 425-meter rocky promontory (weather permitting). There's a lighthouse and Stella Maris Chapel to see while you're there. After that, you'll sail to Wulaia Bay where there's an Australis-sponsored museum and three guided hikes of varying difficulty through the Magellanic forest, all with views of the surrounding landscape.

- Day 3
Garibaldi Glacier
After navigating through narrow channels around Tierra del Fuego overnight, you'll enter Pia Fjord for a Zodiac excursion with a choice between two hikes to see Pia Glacier. Later you'll travel west to Garibaldi Glacier for another shore excursion. You can do a demanding hike through virgin forest to reach a glacial waterfall and viewpoints, or stay on deck with views from the ship's upper levels.

Condor Glacier
Early in the morning you'll sail through Cockburn Channel to Agostini Sound where you can see glaciers in the Darwin Mountain Range. After disembarking, there's an easy walk around a lagoon formed by Águila Glacier melt with nice glacier views. In the afternoon, you'll approach Condor Glacier by Zodiac, and you might spot Andean Condors in the area.

- Day 5
Punta Arenas
Following an overnight cruise, you'll arrive at Magdalena Island at dawn for a shore hike through thousands of Magellanic penguins to visit the 1902 lighthouse museum. There are lots of bird species on the island to see. In September and April, you'll visit Marta Island by Zodiac instead to observe South American sea lions. The cruise finishes with a disembark in Punta Arenas around 11:30 AM.
