Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul
You'll get picked up from the airport and head to your hotel for check-in. Since flight times vary, the day is yours to relax and settle in. If you're not too tired, there's an optional Bosphorus Night Cruise available in the evening that includes dinner and traditional Turkish entertainment, so you can decide based on how you're feeling.

Istanbul
This morning you'll start exploring Istanbul's historic center. First stop is the Blue Mosque and the area around it with the Egyptian obelisks nearby. From there, you'll head to Hagia Sophia, then walk through to Topkapi Palace where Ottoman sultans once lived. Later in the day, you'll wander through the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar, both pretty much unchanged over the last 500 years, so you'll get a real sense of how Istanbul's trade has worked for centuries.

- Day 3
Istanbul to Gallipoli
You'll travel to the Gallipoli Peninsula and head to Eceabat. After grabbing lunch, you'll visit the historic battlefields from 1915-1916 where ANZAC and Allied troops fought Ottoman soldiers. The museum there helps put the conflict into context, and you'll also see the preserved trenches that stand as memorials and monuments to those who fought there.

- Day 4
Gallipoli to Ephesus
Starting with Troy, you'll see legendary sites including old preserved houses, altars, and the 3,700-year-old city walls, plus the replica Trojan Horse standing there. After lunch, you'll travel to Pergamon to check out the Acropolis, the Library that once held 200,000 books, various temples, and the theatre. You should arrive in the Ephesus area by around 20:00-20:30 in the evening.

- Day 5
Ephesus
Today you'll explore Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities from that era and once a busy coastal trade hub. You'll walk through homes, businesses, public baths, and see the grand Library of Celsus with its impressive front. Later you'll visit the House of the Virgin Mary and the Temple of Artemis nearby, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

- Day 6
Ephesus to Pamukkale to Fethiye
After breakfast you'll head to Pamukkale and Hierapolis. The landscape at Pamukkale is really something with those mineral-rich pools cascading down the mountainside in white terraces. You'll explore Hierapolis, the large city built above it that became known for its healing waters and good architecture. In the early evening you'll travel to Fethiye with some time to walk around on your own, and you'll get transferred to your hotel at the Fethiye bus station if that's where you're staying in town.
