Great experience! I had the cultural tour in Nepal and Bhutan, everything was perfectly organised, as also based on my special requests. Both the guides of Nepal and Bhutan have been proactive in the proposals on the additional activities to do and monuments to visit. I am extremely satisfied! Special thanks to Achut, Keshav and Tobgay for having taking care of me for all the trip long! I have met kind and special people on my journey.

I completed the Everest Region 3 High Passes Trek in Oct/Nov 23, it marks the 8th trek ive booked with Manakamana Treks and Expeditions over the past 20 years. There is no other company I would use when travelling to Nepal. Achut is a remarkable person, he takes the time to understand what i want to experience and what id like the outcome to be, and then tailors his approach. He makes the whole process easy and seamless. Even when i change my mind at the last minute, as happened with this trip. Due to some personal circumstances, I had to cancel a trek to Makalu and wasnt sure which trek to do instead. Achut, knowing what I like and my capabilities suggested that I tackle the Solukhumbu 3 High Passes Trek, start from Jiri, and for me to trek clockwise instead of the more traditional anti-clockwise direction that this trek is normally done. He was 100% correct with his advice. Starting from Jiri, and spending 8 days trekking in the foothills, making my way to Namche Bazar, i gained fitness and more importantly spend time gradually above 3000m acclimatising. By the time I hit the first of the high passes, Renjo La, it was tough and I had the fitness to get through. The trek was wonderful, so many moments of 'awe'. More than that, Achut organised a wonderful guide, Subai, who looked after me over the 3 weeks...great sense of humour and by the end of the trek we had become good friends. I highly recommend Manakamana Treks and Expeditions - It's personalised service, competitive pricing and you have something that no other company has - Achut. Thank you again Achut for another great trip Andrew

Although we are very experienced travellers, our tour with Manakamana Treks was our first organised tour experience. Achut and his team provided such a fabulous trip that we highly recommend Manakamana Treks. Before the trip Achut promptly and thoroughly answered every enquiry I sent. This efficiency was evident throughout the entire trip. Achut was waiting at the airport with a sign easily spotted. Chitra, our driver was right there to take us to the hotel. They were so welcoming that we felt relaxed right away. We were amazed at the extensive content of the itinerary in Kathmandu. Chitra and Keshav, our guide, arrived early at our hotel ready to guide us through two days of visiting amazing sites. Achut was there to check on us and introduce Keshav. Keshav clearly and thoroughly told us about each site. He is incredibly knowledgeable. We were impressed with his perfect timing so that we reached each site before it became crowded so we our experience felt personalised. We had excellent photo opportunities. Keshav is a thoughtful, kind and humorous guide. Chitra was always ready to take us to the next place, navigating the busy city safely and with expertise. The next part of the trip to Chitwan Park was amazing. Our new guide, Krishna, was also accommodating. ‘No problem’ was his favourite expression and it rang true. If we wanted to stop to take a photo- No problem. Again we can’t say enough about Chitra’s excellent driving. Chitwan Park was interesting and very well organised. The hotel was excellent, food included was great, people were friendly. We saw four one horned rhinos, a Sambar deer and several other species. The trip to Lumbini was scenic. The birthplace of Buddha was fascinating. We learned so much there. Pokhara was next. Again the drive was made pleasant by Chitra’s great driving and humor and by Krishna’s attention to our needs. We loved Pokhara. Our accommodation was spectacular. One morning we opened the curtains to perfect clear views of the Annapurna range. Stunning. In summary our tour was amazing, unforgettable. From the beginning we felt welcome and cared for as individuals. The entire itinerary was completed with efficiency, kindness and friendliness. Our experience with Manakamana Treks could not have been better. It surpassed our expectations and we highly recommend them.
