G AdventuresOperator•Written June 2024For Single Cabins you can only book the Twin or Double - the cheapest Twin Cabin is the Cat 2 Twin which is sold out so the next one would be Cat 3 Twin which is priced at 33,799.00 AUD and the single supplement would be an additional 23,659.30 AUD. So total would be 57,458.30 AUD.

At the moment, there are only 2 spots left in a Quad Cabin (only for male travelers), and 4 spots left in Triple Cabins ( 3 for female travelers, and 1 for male travelers). Kindly be advised that quad and triple cabins are gender-specific cabins and therefore you will be staying in separate cabins for this expedition. All the other twin cabins are sold-out

All passengers, staff and crew on the G Expedition must be fully vaccinated. This means completing a full primary series of COVID-19 vaccines with the final dose given at least 14 days prior to departure. Booster doses are recommended but not required.

Traveler•Written December 2023I am no longer interested in the expedition 'Spirit of Shackleton' as a COVID vaccination is required and I had a fever for two weeks during my last COVID vaccination. Please let me know if there is still a place on the alternative expedition 'The Great Journey' as it starts soon on January 4th.

If you are a solo traveller and you have NOT selected the Private Cabin option, you will be paired with another solo traveller for all nights, including the hotel in Ushuaia.

Traveler•Written October 2022My wife and I are in the process of making trip selections for next year. We always travel together but next year it is possible that one of us may have to stay at home. I asked about single arrangements because, while we don't have the budget for both of us to make that trip, if one of us was traveling alone, it would be possible.

Most of our cabin types are sold out already for that departure. The 2 spaces left in the lowest-cost cabin type we have left available is Category 3-Twin, but there is only 1 male space, and 1 female space left. No empty rooms available. If you would like to have a cabin to yourself and NOT share with another solo traveler of the same gender, the only private cabin available is Category 5-Double, and the rate is 1.7 for that room.
